I've always felt it terribly silly when people name their children the most popular name of the year but I'm afraid I'm guilty of giving my cats common names.

We have a Lili (variant on Lily and Lilly, which comes in at #8 and #34 respectively on the female names list), a Tiger, and we had a Cali (Calico). Violet and Clover aren't on the list, but many of the names we considered for them are. sweatdrop

Are your babies' names on the list?

hmmm...Leo, Jake, Midnight (female), Alex, Sweetie (although her name was actually Sweetypops), and that's all I see.

The rest are random cat names.
Ironically, though, I saw more names of other animals on that cat name list...

None of my cat names are on the list. . . . I'm a little surprised about Aria and maybe Tony, but not the others.
