Did anyone notice how retarded that bonus chapter was? A flipping Death Eraser?!?!?!?!


That completely ruined it for me.

I think that was what Death Note was originally going to be like, but it didn't quite make it. I'm glad. I didn't like it too much, either x.x

yeah, even though Light is down there in my least favorite characters list, Tarou would have been a really uninteresting main character.

And the concept of erasing names from the death note is ridiculous. Thank God for getting rid of that rule.

That chapter could've been worse.

...It could have been a Life Note. With some retarded rule in there allowing you to write the name of someone who is already dead and bring them back to life, even if they died of natural causes.

I didn’t mind the idea but it was like a kids concept of death, reversible and predictable. I prefer the series we have already.....but you have to wonder what could have been..... xp

Well first of all they had a "L name card" In it and you had to buy the book to find out, but it was stupid that they had his name right under "Real name." Like I noticed that! Didnt anyone else??? haha

That wasn't actually a "bonus" chapter. That is the Death Note Pilot manga, basically, it was written BEFORE Death Note. It was the way the authors caught attention to get their manga published. That is why is has different rules and added "Death" items. It was sort of like a first draft. It shouldn't ruin anything for you, since it is not part of the actual story at all.
