Oddly enough, I think that you've been able to buy her albums over here for a while now [at least since 2004-05? Around the same time L'Arc-en-Ciel became more readily available]. There also have been several articles about her in Shoujo Beat and the English G&LB [at least three that I can think of; the most recent being in the G&LB] and there are probably going to be more to come in the future.

Nana Kitade's been selling her albums over here through Tofu Records [they're a sub group of Sony Japan] along with a few other groups. She's done a few convention concerts as well, I believe. There are videos of her on Tofu's site giving her English-speaking fans a thank-you message, somewhere, too. (:

[edit]: Oh, this might interest you as well. It's old, but she gives the guy from IMF a tour of BtSSB here. Her English is awful, his Japanese is awful, it all evens out.

[Also, just a side note, could you turn that super-long-page-stretching-URL into a link instead?]

Edited URL for page streaching.

Its kinda nice to not have to shop online or go to Virgin to find stuff.

With the Targets near me, its kinda hit or miss, one of them will have it the other one wont. Same with walmart on occasion.

It's not so random seeing as a lot of bands no a days are merging over to America.

All I say is thank god! I won't have to pay 50 dollars for a CD. >_<

I used to dodge that by buying CD lots on eBay from Japan. <_<;
Then I kind of just stopped buying CDs, because torrents became popular and mp3 rotations became easy to find, and I rarely like every track on a CD anyhow.

Five Judy and Mary singles and three albums for about thirty bucks; random singles [including L'Arc, GLAY, La'cryma Christi and B'z] for twenty five. They were cheap because they were from a CD rental place. All still in great condition and all including their little booklets and what not, but used.

Despa at the Taste of Chaos Tour here in Orlando was AMAZING! I absolutely loved them and I think they did soooo much better than Mucc. Their so humble too when I got to meet them and get their autographs heart

That makes me sad, cause they were SUPPOSED to British Columbia [tahts in canada folks] for taste of chaos.. so last night i went, and bought a ticket only to find out at the show,- they weren't schedualed. I was so close to beating the first scene kid i saw...

Personally I think thats awesome.
I mean, Jrock should be popular in America
Like, The bands/musicans really diserve it
Besides, think of all the awesome bands youd see if they came to america.
I mean, people either love Jrock/pop whatever, or hate it.
Everyone I make listen to it hates it.

Tis' a shame I live in Canada, and will be moving to the maritimes .
I'll never see that kind of stuff in a store.
