maeanalda As a writer I get my muses from just about everything. I find inspiration from artwork, music, nature, urban life, i like sitting in crowded places and watching people move about and interact. Most recently I've gotten a lot of inspritation from the abandoned world. Literally, abandoned buildings, things humanity has seemingly forgotten. Its amazing how beautiful things are hidden behind really ugly walls. -C'est la lune qui conduit la danse...-
True story. I know a person or two who are fascinated by old abandoned buildings.
@Nocturnal Scarecrow: :3 Ooooo, tastes and smells. Give an example?

I used to want to design clothes, but now I want to make food. I'd like to be a professional chef. When I saw a manual of careers in the councilor's office of my school, I felt that working in the culinary arts is something I could do. I'd like to be a leader and be on my feet, suggesting what my employees should do, working in a 4 star gourmet restaurant in Paris. Some times my own imagination helps me reach my goals.
I think I found out about wanting to be a chef when I saw an article of an independent pastry chef near my town. She designs these crazy cakes with fondant (it's the kind of cakes they make on TLC channel), and she does that because she lives in a small town and wanted to bring things from the city available to smaller towns.
I think what inspired me the most for this was the movie Ratatouille (it's probably the only favorite movie made by Pixar -besides Toys Story).
When it comes to lolita, some inspiration comes from the great examples of l_j comm. such as daily_lolita. I don't get to wear lolita very often and seeing the others make me want to wear and invest money in those clothes. Wearing the clothes brings me back to my child hood (before I was a tomboy) and I feel much lighter as if the pressures of school was lifted off.
Depending on what project or whatever else in life that I need or would like to do, music, literature, the people around me, my own experiences, people I look up to, etc., inspire me to do what I'd like to do.

For tastes and smells, I guess if im enjoying a super fattening desert crepe it'll make me think of really decadent things resulting to a very full dress, with a great petticoat, thats a lolita example, but If im trying something more obscure or a really bad pie my mom made I'll think of something more sour and tart in general xD; Perfumes can really influence me too, because i have this thing where if im going to wear something cute, i'll wear a cute perfume or if im doing something for fresh and clean I'll do my lemon fresh perfume.
I have a thing for citrus xD, Im weired like that

;A; I have a weakness for cheesecake. (Not the New York-style, that one is actually not that good tasting to me. But there's this kind that my grandmother makes all the time and I love it. heart )
I want to cook neat things as a hobby... I just need to learn to cook more. xD

I get insparation from what I'm feeling, which also affect my music, which also inspires me. On a day when I am cheerful, and excited or peppy, I often dress in Lolita, or in more flashy goth/punk/rock clothes. If I'm upset, or just not all that peppy, i tend to dress down a bit, not get that dressed up.
When Im designing, I like to get insparation from things going on around me.

So, when you mean "things going on around me" you also look at people's actions to get inspiration as well? That's nice. :3
