Basically, they make sure that when people post that they aren't breaking the rules. They can edit posts (By the way, if you are a mod don't get in to the accidental habit of editing other people's posts instead of quoting them. ^^; )
Anyways, they can edit posts or delete them.

It still confuses me a little bit, but I'm the Fai from Tsubasa chronicles (Yuui). ^^;
