Woah... I just found out that Tony can attack in battle!

So uh, I was screwing around in Earthbound with a "walk through walls" cheat, and I managed to glitch my way to Winters. When I went to the place where Jeff lives, I decided to go to his room.

When I entered, someone said "Isn't a bit late to go out Jeff? whatever. You know best. I'll go with you" Or something like that, and then Tony joined me.
I'm assuming the game thought I was Jeff at the time.

But anyway, I decided to go outside the lodge with the cheat still activated.
When I encountered an enemy and attacked it, Tony attacked first!
It seems he only deals about 5 points of damage.

A minor discovery =P
But now he's my favorite assist character in Earthbound!

That's weird that tony would attack since his only purpose was to be a good ladder.

Well, I think I remember reading somewhere that the boarding school Jeff lives in, was going to have more of a purpose or something.
So maybe when Itoi scrapped the idea, there was still data of Tony being able to attack.
