Just so that NO ONE gets confused,

1)Not all percussionists are DRUMMERS

2)Some drummers play certain drums

3)YES WE CAN PLAY TRASH CANS!!!! whee No really there's this song called Stinkin' Garbage my band plays on trash cans(metal AND plastic)

It's awesome being a drummer...

That is very true. Pit is considered percussion and there may or may not be a drummer in pit, but most of them are pianoists.

well, drum set players, auxillary rack, and guitarists are all considered part of pit.

But still, when most people think of pit, they think of the synth, marumba, or xylo...
