Tsunuffy Widdifieldkid *Heavy sigh* The worst has come to pass. Episode 3.22/3.23 (The season finale) is titled "Through the Looking Glass" and is.... Jack Centric. sad "The Brig" is either Locke or Sawyer Centric. Nobody seems to be sure. The Dharma episode may be as close to a Ben centric episode that we'll get this season. gonk The producers are saying this Jack episode will blow our minds and they are super excited about it. I still have my doubts. Two hours of Jack-backs. *shudders* Maybe we'll get lucky and Jack will die like he was supposed to 3 seasons ago... Thank you! But actually, I heard that there is NO real flashback in The Brig. With a name like that, and no flashback, it could actually be pretty cool. Could. Well, they said No Traditional Flashback. So... Like The Other 48 Days? That was non-traditional. Update: Updated. The last episode is about Jack, King of Cretins. Oh, Jack. I could def see the flashbacks being about what happened between the time they showed Cooper to Locke and when he told Kate he was leaving.

Update!
Through the Looking Glass. ...So, does this mean we get to see Jack in the Alice in Wonderland dress? Because that would be a shocking secret. Well, more shocking than his stupid tattoo.
At least there will be no breaks between episodes! I think that's worth it.

Not having breaks is good, but I personally never had the problems with repeats that other people did. I'd rather just go a week or two without a new episode than 13 weeks, or 7 months. Ah well if the people who watch 24 can manage the wait, I suppose we can too. It'll just take some getting used to that's all. Although if this is another way of trying to increase ratings, I think it will be more disastrous than what happened this year.

Yeah, I wouldn't do it to increase ratings If I were them. But it's not like this break was much much longer than anyone elses break. I can't really think that that's the thing that did it. In fact, I read that with online viewership and projected taping viewership, the ratings aren't down that much. In fact, that sort of thing is the basic problem with our current ratings system. It doesn't account for the fact that there are so many ways to watch a show not live.
I think what hurt them was the time shift. People would rather record it and watch it a day later, than stay up to eleven to catch it live. Plus, the bloody demon that is American Idol.

Yeah, I'd classify D.O.C. as a Sun episode. Don't know why every media outlet was reporting it to be a Jin episode...
Anyways, after watching "The Man Behind the Curtain" I wouldn't be surprised to find out that it (along with a bunch of stuff that was probably held back for later) was originally the finale, but then the producers thought up some new storyline involving Jack and changed it.
