CURRENT Village
The Current Village is a more remote village, surrounding itself with water and forests. At this time it has the largest population number of the four villages. The villagers there rely on the water around the village and running through it. They use it for insuring healthy crop growth, since most villagers who are not ninja are farmers.
The villages current Kage is an elderly man, with no family heir to succeed after hiim. He is currently searching for someone he feels would be the ideal successor to him.
The river that runs through the village and Academy as well as the lake on it's borders, serve as spiritual centers for the villagers. The main river in the village, the Shuin river, is the biggest and has the strongest current of any of the rest in the village. Here is where most of the sparing in the village takes place and if you where to ever challenge the Hokage for his power this is where it would take place. This river travels all over the world and is said to be home of all the sprits of currents fallen ninja. That is why they will die protecting this river.
With it's large amount of water and equally substantial farming, Current Village can easily isolate itself if a war breaks out. It has plenty of resources to be able to adiquately supply itself with what it needs.
