i like the piccolo when it's played right and in tune, but if it isn't it's dreadful.

I say the Trumpets. Mainly because they're blaring in my ears all the time.

I would say the trumpets because they can get so long and the Piccolo when it isn't played right. We have two Piccolo players but only one players it correctly.

The oboe sounds like a duck being strangled... so sweatdrop it makes me giggle more then it annoys me. The piccolo sounds horrible when it's played wrong though so that would be my next choice.

i would have to say piccillo cause it can get so damn loud and when its not played right sounds really bad!! but i play the flute and um... it can get reaally loud tooo and sound really bad when not played right and not tuned!! but that just me sooo...... mrgreen

theres always one clarinet player that either squeaks all the time or doesnt come to band... i'd go insane if i didnt go to band , because my second chair trombone doesnt play well

I'd have to say...badly played french horn, a piccolo, the sax player who things they are the best thing since life's bread, the annoying trumpet player who can't play high notes unless they are kicked in the balls, the trombone players who can't play (we have a lot of that)

Ostonzi You guys must have horrible oboes. The oboes in our band sound good like the poster above, it sounds pretty, if the oboeist is good. Trumpet are WAY worse than woodwinds. Piccolos, oboes, clarinets, and flutes sound perfect compared the the grinding/ripping of the trumpets. are you harrassing people who happen to play trumpet and cant even play woodwinds? cause i fall into that catagory. I play all brass. I cant play anything cause I give up on it to fast. I happen to think that probably...well, nothing annoys me. I think oboe is awesome, clarinets are OK and flute/piccolo is cool. I like the sounds. All the rest are awesome too.
