Theres this guy. He's in almost all of my classes at my school. He's of course a "prep", I know my friends will acecpt him, it's his I worry about. I know he likes me, and all that joyful stuff. But his friends are shallow, and they all hate me. sad
So you know what I'm dealing with? My friends would worry about my mental health, but they wouldn't freak out. His, on the other hand, would. And something else is, he is friends with just about everyone, he's even friends with me on some weird level. Help???

Well I would say just forget about the friends, but that never works well. Best I can say is if your going to do this keep all your old friends close, like a life line and then go out and try to be with him. I've never seen a group of shallow people stay together to long. That’s my experience anyway
Other then that try it can't hurt to try, so go for it if you want it.
However be careful, you never know what people will try when changes occur or they feel threatened.

A much more cowardy but less attackable and destroyable way would be that you don`t go out officially at school, but meet privatly, basically a secret relation. If you two really find out that you fit together, that you become best friends besides lovers aswell, I think new solutions and doors can be found together. If it is just a crush you can part again, no harm done. If there are for example only 2 years until you`re out of school, then it would be even more worth it to keep it secret until school ends.

Yeah, I was in your EXACT situation, just i liked a girl and im a guy. Horrible thing in my shoes, but things change... We only lasted one month, though. Look, if his friends are so mental about you that they abandon him, hes better off with out their sorry asses! If you two feel like dating, follow your gut. I didnt, and... I really need a therapist, lets leave it at that.

First, you shouldn't really care about his friends..
Heck, if he chooses to patronize his friends over you, he isn't worth it. If he likes you that much, he should be able to make it work out with his friends.

Well, I kind of told him to go to hell.
He just really pissed me off. And now he's still the same guy he always was, and he really doesn't know how much he hurt me. But, I've just tried to forget him, it's not really working, but on friday I get to see my ex-boyfriend who I miss so much!! heart heart
So hopefully my ex can help me forget about him.
