So I open up one of those dove chocolates, the kind with the messages in the tin foil:
message 1: A smile is worth a dozen roses.
I eat another one right after
Message 2: Buy yourself flowers!
All the while the song I'm listening to on headphones is... Seal's Kiss by a Rose.
STOP CONFUSING ME!
Anyone else have some weird circumstances?

I didn't get a strange coincidence thing but I did get a very odd fortune in my cookie the other day. It said, "If the cookie broke in three pieces, the answer is no." I don't really know what that means but I guess it doesn't matter because the cookie was only two pieces.

i have something like that. i was eating dinner last sunday at a chinese restaurant. my fortune cookie read "you will get a raise at work." i just laughed about it. then on monday, i cracked a joke to our supervisor about wanting more money. he laughed, gave me the finger and told me "here's your raise." he was joking with me, of course. i'm not eligible for a raise for another 4 months.

The closest I can say I've had (thus far in my life and can recall) is one time I was on my way home from work it was my last day at my current work and going to start the next day at a new place when on the radio came the song "Don't Stop Thinkin' About Tomorrow."

Those are all great examples. Fortune cookies are always fun.
When I was walking into a much hated job one time, and had been talking about the song the day before, they were playing "Everybody hurts....sometimes.... everybody cries" on the radio. It was just fitting.
Every now and then I have "psychic" moments, but usually it's about bad things. Like a couple months back out of the blue I had a dream about an ex I hadn't talked to in -years- (he moved out of Missouri to California, and I was happy about that), well the next morning I wake up and out of no-where there is a message from him on my my space.
Also, when my ex fiance and I split, well it happened out of no where. I was back home for spring break and got this weird sensation without any logical backing that something was seriously wrong. Got home from break and he was acting weird and within a week he had broke things off.

Well, it's not exactly the same, but a weird coincidence I had once was thus:
I was in China, had just gotten back from a big weekend trip and me and some friends decided to treat ourselves to an American-style breakfast in a pricey (by Chinese standards) restaurant. Not only was the food good, but while I was sitting there, one of my favorite songs by my favorite bands came on the radio. This is weird because most of the American music you hear in China is pop...especially the Backstreet Boys/N'Sync. Not too much alt-rock.
It made me xd

another odd moment. i was leaving a job i walked off. i just up and told my supervisor to shove the job up his a**. i forgot my step dad borrowed my car earlier in the day and he listens to country music. anyway, for some reason, as i started my car, the cd popped out and the country song "take this job and shove it" was playing on the radio... i laughed at the irony all the way home.

A couple weeks ago I went on date with this guy I really like. He was trying to be a gentleman and not let things go to the gutter. What he didn't seem to get is that I have a very dirty mind and keeping things clean and polite with me is nearly impossible. Anyway, we went to a nicer chinese restaurant and got through the meal just fine. When we got to our fortune cookies though there was no preventing things going to the gutter. He opened his and started laughing. I asked " What are you laughing at?" He said, "I'm sorry, I was doing such a good job of not being a pervert and then I get this." The word on his fortune was cucumber... Then I opened mine and immediately burst into laughter. My word was inside....
Cucumber and inside... yeah, I feel like such an adolescent. lol

One time, I was at a Chinese Restaurant with my brother and his girlfriend. We all got fortune cookies....
My brother's said, "Throw a party."
His girlfriend's said, "You will meet someone very interesting at a party."
Mine said, "Don't go to any parties."
And we all laughed.
Then today... I was in a video game competition. During the competition, they had a raffle for a video game system. I was talking with my friend about how he had never won anything and how cool it would be to win. The guy running the tournament asked me to draw the name, I guess since I was the only female in the tournament. My friend yelled to me, "Draw my name!" to which I replied, "Will do, man!"
...And the paper I pulled out of the box had his name on it. It was such a coincidence that I told him I would draw his name, and I did... Out of 70 plus entries.
I told him he owed me big time.

i get dream where i will see something that within a few days actually happens de ja vu is weird
i was thinking about leaving my current job, which i have now thankfully, when the radio started playing i want to break free i was laughing so much on the shop floor i had to find an excuse to go look for something in the storeroom
