I recently downgraded from my lovely Playstation 2, to the old original Playstation 1...
And it feels good!! The crappy disc reader on my PS2 couldn't read any Playstation 1 games until I reset the machine literally three times in a row after waiting for five minutes for it to even say something about my PSX games! evil
But my PS1 only takes two seconds to load all of my old games. And, I missed all of my old games. They have style...
But not to fret, for I still have my Playstation 2, because all that I did was trade it for my dad's PSX, so we only live across the hallway from each other, hehe...
And upgrading to a Playstation 3 is my next move... & the gamestops nearby have a lot of them in stock, so there's absolutely no worry...
Does the Playstation 3 have the quickest disc reader?

I believe a PS3 loads faster than a PS2
It the PS3 game itself I think

Um yeah... The drive in the PS3 reads DVDs, and CD faster.
