Keva walks over and leaning down gives Kai a gentle hug. "Did I hear someone mention canasta? Can I join in?""
Kai looks up with a grin and nods. "If you go get the cards for us."
"Two decks coming up." laughs Keva going to the sideboard and rummaging through a drawer. "We should also move to the table. Kero, it's a lot like rummy... have you played that?"

"Hey... Uncle Jor has a humanoid form ye know... he could play cards with ye, iffin he wanted to." laughs Keva setting the table up. He shuffles the two decks together then deals out 11 cards a piece.
"Now in canasta ye need to make melds in order to put down anything out of yer hand. And iffin ye had any red 3's put them down right away and draw replacements. You get an automatic 100 pts per card, 200 iffin ye got all four... but they don't count towards yer meld. Now the object is to make canastas... that is a meld of at least seven cards of the same numerical value. Deuces and Jokers are wild. Am I clear so far?"

**the rules to the game all over the place so that's as far as I'm going to explain it... but it's really a lot of fun... ye should learn how to play it**
Keva chuckles softly and shakes his head. "I know for a fact that L. Kero plays... I taught him..." he says with a grin as he proceeds to talk Kerobian through the first couple of hands.
"That was fun..." laughs Kero after he manages to win hand after hand, much to Keva's frustration.
"I swear you have a photographic memory." grumbles the kitsune wrinkling his nose.
Kai giggles. "You were just trying to show off." she says to her mate in a gentle scold. "If you have paid more attention to the discards you would have done better."
Keva rolls his eyes and laughs. "Shall we try for another set?"

They continue to play for the better part of an hour until suddenly Luna comes swooping into the room calling his name. Amestru follows at a more sedate pace, his eyes sparkling with barely suppressed laughter.
"Daddy! Daddy! you see.... come see... my woom have swim pool... and... and toys... and... and rain maker... and aww sowts of stuff...." she cries landing heavily on his shoulder.

"The pool is her bath, which is an ever flowing tub... and the rain maker is a shower that Lyssie designed as a waterfall effect... she thought it would encourage Luna to bathe herself." sends Ame with a wink. He goes to take Kero's place in the canasta game, asking the others whose deal it was.
Luna chatters excitely in Kero's ear, telling him all about her room, which is in his tower, but not as far up as his apartment.
"It has pwants all ovar it.... and a bawlcany so I ken fwy to an' frowm." she states as they get closer.

The room is on the third level, high enough for her to get a fair amount of air beneath her wings when she takes off... not a serious issue at the moment but one which will definitely become more important as she grows older. And the first thing Kerobian notices as he enters is it has been designed by a dragon for a dragon. The floor is richly carpeted and the walls are stuccoed in a deep dark stone color and hung with flowing tapestries. Niches line the wall for her treasures, which at present seem to be a series of toys... blocks carved from the finest woods, a tiny golden tea set, books galore, and stuffed animals and dolls. A small doll house, completely furnished sits beside an enormous round nest like bed that sits near the wide double doors leading to the balcony. Luna shows this to him and states it's for her fairy. Plants are sitting in enormous pots or hanging everywhere, turning her room into a verdant jungle. The sound of water falling draws him to an arched doorway which leads to a bathing room done up as a grotto. Stones, natural and worked, form a pool large enough for a fair sized dragon, while at it's end water cascades down from overhead... Luna's rain maker. The water is scented with the herbs growing about the pools perimeter. Lyssan is sitting here in her fox form, dabbling her paw into the water, testing it's temperature.
She looks up with a grin. "Luna, you found him.... great! So what do you think? Has my realm welcomed her or not? I merely thought of what I assumed she'd like, both now and later on... and the keep grafted this room to your tower. I do hope you do not mind. I expect you are to share it with her. But only iffin ye want."

Lyssan talks Luna into trying the bath, now that she has warmed it up and then leads Kero out into the bedroom by the hand, giving the tiny dragon some privacy.
"She will have a hard life as she grows older. As a child she is cute and precocious. People are not so frightened of her. But her breed is one of the more savage of chromatics. As she matures, she will find it harder and harder to find friends in the world. I do not mean she will not have them, only her world will be smaller than either yours or mine, hedged in by those who either will not or cannot accept her... even amongst her own kind. So it is my desire to make for her havens... places she can flee to when times get rough. Her cave will no doubt be her home, but this will be a place she can come to, to visit and be with like minded people. No one is an island... " she sighs sitting down in a beanbag near to a steadily burning fire pit.

"I'm telling this to her Daddy, who just so happens to be King of the Void. You know, as well as I do that she cannot... or should I say should not go there. There was too much creation magic used in her formation, she was a part of me for far too long. And friendship and companionship is something that cannot be bought with yer riches or sculpted through yer magics. Her existence is a rare melding of our two magics... she goes there and she's going to disintegrate." says Lyssan shaking her head.
