fizban shrugs... growing fast but slowing finally to normal i think... or should i say slowing for him... he's still growing far faster than the average dragon... he's kept me hopping he has... what with his questioning mind and all... and we've come to an agreement... i teach him how to cast magic with control and he figures out what kind of magic he wants to cast... it's easier on us both this way... he's not shouting at me cause he can't do what i ask and i'm not shouting at him because he does it differently.... and he's coming into his own i think... becoming his own person... not merely a reflection of what might have been.... sure wish i knew how ye did that... it's against all reality as i know it....
you catch luceil giving him an odd sideways glance at this comment... but he makes no open remark on it and fizban doesn't illuminate on his words anymore than that...

Luciel...all it means is that, while you are a normal mage, you draw on my energy to fuel yer spells...ye wield fire...but are born of Void...that's wy yer always hungry...yer not a Voidmage like me...but because you use Void to power Fire...ye draw on my self-same curse...the unending hunger.

No lies there...and there's many a creature like that...I'd kill to know how he speaks Voidtongue, though...

like i said, kerobian, he's got a questioning mind... and he learned the way i did... from a book in my library... caught him reading it one night and when i questioned him as to why.... he simply looked at me and speaking quite clearly in void speak asked me why not....
fizban chuckles softly and tells luceil to go out and play... luceil clearly wants to stay but he nods and listens without an argument, something that he rarely did before...

I wonder...did you all know that the souls of Atheist's dissolve when they enter the Void? I wonder...if I could gather that stuff...before it flows back into chaos...could we use it as a graft...like a skin graft...if I attune it to his soul first...I think that lies within my power...

perhaps... says fizban thoughtfully... that would help with a partion of the problem, true... but he's showing signs of brain damage as well... that worm fed off him quite literally ye know....
