Askari straightened out and cocked her head to the side while the little girl took the rat. "Usually I only do that in my cat form. Listen, when we leave, I'll have the Wolfos follow me so you and this little girl can get back to Impa's. I'm not taking no for an answer, either." she said as she walked over to the old hag that ran the Potion Shop. "I'd like to buy something, Ma'am?" she said, looking at the wares. Blue Potion, Deku Nuts, Deku Sticks, Bombs, Arrows, a few recovery hearts, and a fairy in a bottle. "How much for the Blue Potion?" she asked.
The old hag cackled, "300 Rupees." she said. The old lady noticed Askari's vision sway to the Fairy in a Bottle. "The Fairy in a Bottle is 200 Rupees." she said with another cackle.
Askari gave a slight growl as she placed a large orange rupee on the counter for the old hag and reached over the counter for the fairy in a bottle and headed to the back of the shop by Kaylene and the little girl. "Ready to go, then? Here, take the fairy to Impa's house and make sure that Mercutio uses it on Denji if I don't get back too quickly. Ready? You'll need to open the door for me, though. Make sure to take a peek outside to make sure they're gone." the blonde told the other blonde. Her hair had grown back quite a bit. It was a bit farther past her shoulders, close to her elbows again. She changed forms into an orange tabby cat as she walked to the door slowly, glancing behind her to make sure that Kaylene and the girl followed and did as told.

Kaylene stared at the young girl before her, apalled. Did she just.. Do what I think she did? Dhe shook her head, know what the little one was. She had slain a couple of such creatures that were slaying her fellow villages. Yet, she would do no such thing to this child. She would keep her eye on her none the less. Kaylene watched as Askari got ready to go. She quickly took the bottled fairy and stowed it in her pocket. "I'm ready.. go ahead." She then looked down at the girl. There was no way she would be able to hold this girl's hand AND run. Had she know the child's power, she would have never done what she was about to do. "Here. I will be able to keep you safe if I hold you, alright?" Seeing that the girl wasn't going to reply, she picked her up and laid her gently over her shoulder.

The girl looked over at Askari, her eyes scanning the fairy in a bottle that Askari handed to Kaylene. She looked back down at the now dead rat and felt Kaylene take her into her arms. Feeling warm, and safe, she moved and wrapped her little arms around Kaylene's neck and snuggled her face into her neck, hearing the growling and scratching growling at the door. She could hear them clearly as if they were standing right outside the door.

Askari nodded for Kaylene to open the door and when she did, trotted out slowly. She wasn't surprised to see the two wolfos there, automatically try to snap at her. She dodged them and started running away, looking back to see if they were following her and continued running when she say they were right on her tail, turning up the road to Death Mountain to hopefully lose them up there.

Kaylene quickly ran out of the shop and headed toward Impa's house. She was quick on her feet despite her long dress. Within a couple of minutes, the blonde had managed to make it home of the Skeikah woman. She saw Askari heading toward death mountain and prayed that she would be okay. After shutting the door, she put the small child on the ground and brushed the hair out her small face. Kaylene then took her hand and sat next to her on the floor. Her hair and skirts scattered around them, like a blanket almost. "Now then... will you tell me your name? Mine is Kaylene Rouzzini. You can even call me KayKay if you want." She gave the small child her warmest smile to make her comfortable.

The little girl studied her with her magenta eyes. She didn't look like she would reluctantly speak, but a small squeak made it past her lips. "Sen..." She murmured with her small voice, but that sounded like all she was going to say, because she turned around and started studying the house with her little eyes. She moved around to look around. She blinked at what she saw, two boys, they both had cat ears and tail like the girl. Sen moved and rushed over and hid behind Kaykay, looking from behind her skirts.

"Kaylene! Did you find the fairy? Denji's been quite restless..." Mercutio mumbled, gesturing towards the other neko sitting down on the bed. He stared at Kaylene, then the newcomer and hissed angrily.
Mercutio smacked Denji on the back of his head, directing his anger towards himself rather than a little girl. "Knock it off. Do you have to hiss at every stranger? Besides, you should be resting."

Sen eyes suddenly filled up with silent tears turning away from Denji, her little face hidden in Kaylene's skirts.

Askari jumped onto a rock on the trail and used it to climb onto the rock that was a wall along the trail, going back the way she'd came, jumping from rock to rock on the top of the wall, careful not to let the Wolfos see her. She heard a few barks from behind her and her foot slipped from the rock as she fell downward onto the trail to Death Mountain, but she quickly looked back only to see that they were fighting over a rat. Her ears twitched as she felt a slight pain on her right side. It was true that cat always landed on their feet, but this time her feet had slid out from under her when she had tried to land on her feet on the trail and she'd fell on her right side instead. She trotted back to Impa's house as fast as she could, shifting forms as she glanced back to make sure they hadn't followed her then opened the door and walked inside, "Sorry that took so long." she said, giving an apologetic smile as her ears twitched slightly from her side. It didn't hurt too much, but it constantly told her that it was there.

Kaylene rested her hand on the small girl's shoulder satisfied with her answer. She got to her feet gracefully and looked back at Mercutio with her blue eyes. "Yes I got it.. right here..." She then produced the bottle from her seemingly invisible pocket. She handed it to the man then looked at Denji a little worried. "I hope this heals him... I've heard of this 'fairy magic'." Then she heard the door open. She saw Askari and smiled. "Good.. you're back safe and sound... I was starting to get worried."

"Thanks, Kaylene. It'll work, I promise. I've seen it work before." Mercutio grabbed the bottle and headed towards Denji. He was grumpy and generally not fun to be around. "Askari, can you calm him down a bit before we use a fairy?"

Askari nodded and gave out a slight laugh, "Yeah, otherwise he might scare the fairy away." she joked, walking over to Denji. "Stop being such a grouch, be happy." she said, pulling one of ears with a smile at him.

Sen blinked when she looked over at Askari. Letting go of Kaylene's skirts she rushed over to Askari, clinging to her leg and hid behind her, she peeked out behind her over at Denji, looking like she was terrified of him, clinging onto Askari's leg.

Askari looked down at the little girl clinging to her leg; she still hadn't gotten her name. "Ah. Don't worry, he's not as scary as he looks." she smiled down at the girl, her ears twitching once, her tail swaying slightly.

"Leave me alone." Denji mumbled, his eyes burrowing into the stranger's. "She reeks of blood." He whispered, his stubby tail curling up by his feet. He didn't seem distrubed, but he felt the need to bring random bits of information in his foul mood.
Mercutio bit his lips. "Denji, please just cheer up. We need to go through the water temple, and we can't do that with all your knife wounds." Mercutio muttered, gesturing for Kaylene to sit in the chair next to his.
