Tam finally relaxes, though being next to Bez and inhaling his musky scent leaves him antsy and nervous.
Bez doesn't seem to see this, or if he does he pretends otherwise. Moving his great paw off Tam's shoulders he lowers his head to the bed and sighs. "G'night, Ai... go to sleep will ye... yer skragged.... "
"Am not..." grumbles the smaller lion.
"Are too..." says Bez firmly.
"Am...." starts Tam then he looks into Bez's eyes and sighs. "Okay... okay... I am a bit tired... but yer not my keeper."
"Someone has to look after ye..." murmurs Bez sleepily as his eyes drift shut.

Soon both not-so-angelic lions are fast asleep, leaving Kero some time with Tes.
"So yer going to be leaving me again, are ye?" he grumbles with a sigh, putting away his pipe.

So the two disappear, leaving the clinic in silence, except for the soft rumbling snores of the two sleepers and this is what Shar finds when she returns from breakfast. She covers the lions with a warmed blanket then slips into her office, digging out her texts on ice related injuries, wondering if Tam's physical weakness was due to that or something entirely different.

"Shh... Come in here... They are still asleep. I think I know why Bez is asleep. Animals do that when they've been injured... eat and sleep that is and I've never seen him in any other shape. Does he have another?" she asks clearing a seat for him to hop up onto. "But Master Talesian is confusing me. If ye hadn't brought him to me the way he was, I just wouldn't believe it right now. He shows no sign of any form of ice injury, but this odd coloration and his weakness worries me to no end. I see someone brought them some food though... I should probably thank them."

She lifts an eyebrow at him, but doesn't bite. It's a little obvious he's been out rolling in the brush, he's got bits of grass behind one ear, smudges of dirt in his fur and needs a good brushing.
"So you brought it to them... thank you for thinking of it. I was going to ask what they wanted, but I suspect ye did alright as it looks as though they licked the plates clean."
