As for sharing it or not, I think you should definitely post it in your journal. I would post the profile in one entry, then each chapter in its own separate entry. Anyone who got wind of your story could easily see new stuff at a glance, such as friends, from your profile. They'd just see if you had a new entry. Also, any comments people wanted to make would be seen chapter-by-chapter (as long as you don't mind). Kinda like fanfiction.net.
You could do your plan if you just wanted to post the story and not deal with so much journal clutter. Do you care about journal clutter?

That may work.
I was trying to keep down the clutter. sweatdrop Just seems a waste to me almost to post multiple entries about one thing. On the other hand, what you say is true about people being able to see it. Then again, no one comments anyways. xD
Guess now I has to go and take a bunch of pics from my sims so that visualizing will be easier. xD
