You know you're a band geek when you unconsciously play a drum solo you did eight years ago in the middle of class with a pencil and a pen, notice you're doing it, stop doing it, go to sleep just because you hate the class and think you'll break the habit of doing it, then when you wake up you notice the pencil and pen in your hands and someone tells you that you were playing the solo in your sleep.

You know you're a band geek when you're in class playing all the parts you've ever learned, and in music class, when you play your solo, everybody is quiet, and you notice at the very end that everyone is amazed... But we geeks are still awesome.

You know you're a band geek when you search every nook and cranny of the world wide web for an mp3 of a peice you're playing.
...or you create/join your band's group on facebook... XD

Here's a funny one, you know you're a band geek when you beat the band teacher to a 7:00 Jazz Band Rehearsal by a half an hour.

You know you're a band geek whan you're walking down a hallway, trying to stay in step with the person in front of you, and humming your parts to the marching show this year. Then the person turns around, looks at you like you're insane, and turns the corner, and then you realize what you were doing.
This happens to me all the time at school. smile

u know ur a band geek when u unknowingly defend the band
when someone says "band has it easy, they walk around and tute a horn" (they have no idea what we go through)
i do this all the time 3nodding
and im on guard heart

When you suggest to enter a person from each section in a talent show... Wearing a duck costume and quack your parts. (I have suggested this... I got weird looks)

You know you're a band geek when...
You can grip the back of a chair and say "Do me!" without it being taken sexually. ("Do me!" meaning "Zip up the back of my uniform!")
Half the band dresses up as your BD and attempts to direct when he's not looking.
The BD doesn't say anything when a drummer is being ducktaped to a folding chair... -.-;
The BD referes to everyone not in band as normal people and tells us not to scare them...

you know ur a band geek when most of ur week is spent after school at various rehersals. like me.
or, when you have to dumb down jokes because ur friends dont understand what sonata or crescendo mean.

x_Hikari_x RinoaHeartilly You know you're a band geek when the only time you've went to Florida was when the band went. omg im going in april too thats so sweet but its not my first time there 3nodding you know your a band geek when you start playing ur music threw pen tops xd (guilty) .....yea i had more i just forgot them we've also duck taped one of our horns to the wall and me and my friends cant go any where with out duck tape
