The expression Arron gave Talbot was a hard one. "N-Never... N-Never say that people are w-worth more than y-you okay? Y-you have the r-right to be here j-just like everyone else, & T-Talbot, if you are-are in-injured & c-can't continue, th-then rest. T-Taking br-breaks are wh-what is needed in-in life. Oth-therwise y-you are g-going to be out-out of f-fuel when y-you need it-it then most." he said earnestly.

This body has endured four years of torture, after all." with that, Talbot walked back inside, and headed for his bed.Atticus looked at Arron with knowing eyes, but made no move to follow the knight inside. He was still on watch duty, after all.

The statement stung, making Arron visibly cringe. He mumbled an apology to the knight's back as he headed inside. The mechanic sat back down near the door, not ready to return inside.

Talbot's mother stood at the door as Arron sat by it, and she seemed to be looking in the direction of Talbot's bed. She looked to him a moment later.
"Did you have an argument?" she asked, curious.

The Lythcol mechanic nodded. "I-I said he-he should w-wait to leave for th-the Black K-Kingdom un-until he healed more... & he-he g-got angry with me." he said, scratching the back of his neck, "I-I didn't mean to-to offend T-Talbot..."

"I take that as a good sign, actually..." Mrs. Nesdin said, stepping outside and closing the door behind her.
"My son is definitely a changed man. That was obvious to me the moment he woke up. He's much more submissive and obedient than he was before he left." she frowned slightly, then looked at Arron again.
"If he didn't simply agree with you and go along with what you said, despite his own wishes, that might mean that he's taking steps towards being his own person again. I like to think so, anyway."

Arron was looking up at Talbot's mother when he nodded. "...Th-then you're r-right... it-it is a good thing..." he said, "St-Still... if he pl-plans on lifting anyth-thing heavy he's getting picked up & m-moved a-aside." His expression said that Arron was joking a little.

"Just try your best not to emasculate him. I can only imagine what he's been through to make him act the way he is. He must not feel much like a warrior right now, having been held captive for so long. It's likely very easy for him to lose confidence in himself right now." she spoke in a soft, but semi-warning manner before smiling softly again and shaking her head.
"You've been supportive so far, so I doubt anything you really do will be bad for him."

Arron nodded & smiled lightly. "He-He's my friend. I-I wouldn't h-have it any other way." he said, leaning back against the house. He pulled a small spool of wire out from his pocket & began to twist into a shape with his hands.

He would stay outside for a while, carefully wrapping the wire into a bracelet. After a while, the young man would nod off & would stay asleep until the sun came up or if he was awoke by someone.

Talbot was quick to begin packing as soon as he woke up, and had eaten something. He suited himself in his armour, then paused at the door when he saw that Arron was there, covered with a blanket likely by his mother later in the night. The young knight heaved a sigh, then gently nudged Arron's shoulder.

The nudging made Arron look up at his friend, rubbing his eyes. "Hmm?" he mumbled yawning. He still felt very fatigued from the passed few days.

"I'm going to leave for the black kingdom soon. If you wish to accompany me, let me know now." Talbot said, straight forward and clear with his words. His face was serious, and it was plain to see that he would not be backing down from this decision.
