Ivar gritted his teeth when he hit himself and probably broke a rib, taking deep breaths to ignore the sore feeling. Damn it's like they're making this game easy for Gryffindor, and he was really wishing to hell and back that Mels gets the snitch before Fianna does. Ivar always liked a challenge, but he was getting the feeling that Gryffindor was getting too cocky now that he and Chance were having bad luck. Still not giving up, he narrowed his eyes at Fianna and decided to take action, praying that he didn't hit himself.

Ahnna arrived on the pitch with a grin on her face. Today was their first game of the year, and she was very excited to be playing again. As always, her plan was to do her best to knock out all the beaters on Slytherin team. And she actually stood a good chance with Leon graduated now. This was also Dris' first game as starting seeker, so she was excited to see how he did.

Flick arrived on the pitch with at least a slightly better mood than usual.
She had gotten diagnosed with OCD over summer break and gotten on some muggle medicine that was helping her, plus therapy that was teaching her a few coping skills. She definitely still had her freak outs, but they were less often and less vicious. She was vice captain of her team now,
so she had to be at least somewhat of a good example.


She waved at Ahnna when she noticed the pink haired girl who was sort of dating her cousin or whatever. Okay so maybe they weren't really dating,
but Flick didn't know what else to call them since Ahnna was clearly interested in him, and he was...well mostly oblivious as far as she could tell.
She would have to meddle into that to get things rolling probably.
Though she really wasn't one to talk, she barely even spoke to boys outside of her team and her cousins. Her best friend had a boyfriend...
albeit a nasty one, and she was just.... well she really didn't know what was wrong with her. She had no interest in other people of either sex.

Dris was both excited and terrified for this game. He'd played before, yes, but never as starting seeker! What if he was absolutely terrible?! He worried with his uniform before deciding that stretching out would be a much better use of his energy. Maybe he'd win? Maybe he'd prove he was meant for this spot... and then? Then he could be scouted and go pro or something. He searched the seats, wondering if his friends and family would be there to watch his first game as seeker.

spaceKiery raced out onto the pitch, having to catch her breath after she skidded to a stop where the other players were converging. She probably shouldn't be getting herself so worked up and worn out before the game even started, but she was just so excited! She still couldn't believe she'd made the team! Of course, she knew it was partially because they hadn't had very many people try out, but still! There'd been other people that could've gotten first string, and hadn't, which meant the captain had confidence in her! She'd thought she was the best choice! That was amazing!

spaceThe brunette hopped her way over to Lena, grinning wildly. "Ohmygosh, this is so cool!" she squealed excitedly. She still wasn't completely 100% on this game, she'd admit. She still had trouble with the names sometimes, more for the balls than the positions, at least. Although, she did keep calling the 'keeper' the 'goalie', but that she could be forgiven for, she thought. Both terms were short for the formal 'goalkeeper', so they were both equally valid, surely? At the very least, she knew what she was supposed to be doing, which was get the quaffle and try to score. She wasn't particularly good at the scoring part just yet, but she was certain she'd get better the more she played. Glancing at the others, she noticed some of them were stretching. That was probably a good idea! She dropped down to the ground to do her own, and wondered how long until the game would start.
