"Kaylene!" Mercutio caught her before her head hit the ice. He hugged her close, but next he knew it, Denji and Askari were gone. Again! He noticed a little note on the floor in neat handwriting. Must have been Askari who wrote it. Somehow, he didn't trust Denji. "Gone to see to the king, eh?"
"So the king is frozen too..." Denji mumbled, looking at the red ice closely.
"It's red ice. We need to use blue fire to melt it." Askari explained.
"Blue fire huh... maybe we can find some that way?" Denji picked Askari up and ran behind the frozen king.

Kaylene sighed and opened her eyes slowly. She blinked a couple of times then looked at Mercutio. "I'm.. sorry... I always cause trouble..." she mumbled. She tried to stand but staggered. However she called Mercutio off. "No... don't help... You can't be helping and defending me every second."
((Hey I think I am going to add another character to spice things up a little. But I haven't decided who yet... But probably a guy. Should he be evil or good?))

”No... Kaylene, I don't think you can stand on your own. Just sit and rest for a little, please!” Mercutio had to keep himself from rushing to her aid. He was going to respect her wishes, not matter how much it worried him.

Kaylene sighed then turned to look at Mercutio. "I know... I just feel like I am holding you guys back." She sighed then sat on the ice, her blonde hair spreading across the floor. "Something evil is here, Mercutio. I can feel it. Someone has cursed this place.... That evil... it tried to posess me..." she looked at the ground, her face full of fear. "I saw someone... a man. I think... He was the one to curse this place..."
((Indeed... shall we have a love triangle?))

“Was it Ganondorf? Denji told me about him... but...” Mercutio shook his head and frowned. “Kaylene, it's alright. Really. We... don't even have to follow Denji around like this...”

Kaylene shook her head. "I'm... I'm not sure... I never knew this... Ganondorf..." She then smiled. "I want to help. Maybe we can help but from a different place... It is probably wise that we stick together... but we can accomplish more if search for the cause of this mess seperatly... we can cover more distance this way..." She got and took his hand. "Come on... we won't get anywhere if we sit here."
((Naw I don't want to... hurt him.. but it shall make things interesting.. Maybe he won't be so sshy about his feelings for her. Maybe give him more confidence... we shall see.. lemme make up a profile...))

Kaylene looked at Mercutio. "Come on... Denji and Askari will be fine without us. I think we need to find the place where this dark energy is coming from."

"I hope I know what you're doing. I certainly don't." Mercutio bit his lips and transformed. He ran by her side with his tail flicking from side to side.

Cielene laughed. "Don't worry.. We can do this. I simply have to pinpoint where this strange power is coming from." She picked up Mercutio and smiled. She gently planted a kiss on his forehead.
Fai watched the girl and cat curiously from the top of the waterfall. Hmmm... that girl... I feel.. some kind of power that calls to mine... Perhaps she is one with the ice and water. He slid down the frozen water fall and landed in front of the girl with his arms crossed. He grinned watching her with his sapphire blue eyes. "My my... wandering around this beautiful ice I see... What is your name, beautiful lady?" He bowed and kissed her hand gently. He rose from his bow then saw the cat in the crook of her opposite arm. Hmm? What is this... a cat? He glared at it. he raised an eyebrow when he saw it glaring back. It looked like human emotion, not a normal cat's emotion.
Cielene took a step back jerking her hand away. "Might I ask the same about you?" She said looking at his eyes. There were locked on Mercutio.

Fai jerked backward. "Blasted cat! You've ripped my jacket!" He glared at the cat, half tempted to turn it into an ice crystal. "If you would please control that... creature... I would greatly appreciate it..."
She took a step back, but did not scold Mercutio. "Sorry.. but he is very picky. And you didn't answer my question. Why are you here?" She searched his blue eyes. They gave her the chills. It seemed as if they were made of ice themselves.
Fai smirked. "Can one not enjoy the beauty of ice? I love the ice...Everything is some much more charming when it is covered in a layer of crystal. Would you not agree? I can feel that you are bonded with water and ice." He let a faint smile play at the corners of his mouth. She... is very different... Her eyes are like pools of deep mystical water... I could loose myself in them. Sweetling.. what is your name? I must know. Perhaps it is destined that we have met- However seeing pain in his arm brought him to his senses. He saw the cat sinking its teeth into his arm. "Stupid cat! Get off!" He flung his arm out and Mercutio flew onto the ice.
Cielene gasped. "Mercutio! Silly... why did you do that?!" She padded over to him and placed him in her arms. "Seriously! What is wrong with you?!"
Fai watched closely. What is it with this cat of hers?! I swear... If she wasn't here.. I would freeze it and crush it... But why this special bond? Does she not feel to pull to me as do I? Our magic is the same... I wonder...

Mercutio's sides rumbled slightly as he hissed silently tot he stranger. He felt the fur stand up on his back as well as his ears pinned against his head.
