Not always, and you are doing better at gaining gold than the prices are rising. You've only got about another 7k to go now.

Not really, prices usually fall at night, and rise during the afternoon.

Not too good. There is an incredibly painful amount of pressure building up behind my ear drums

ick, Ear infections are s**t. I used to get them often, i solved most of them with sticking a wet wash cloth in a ziplock bag then heating it up in the microwave, and then puting it on the ear, it helps.
