And besides, it's the thought that counts. At least you would be giving them something as a reward.

It's kindof hard to be a rich excentric gaian without the rich part though... I'm planning on doing random acts of kindness after I get my sash.

But first you would need the steady income so you could donate the $10 a month to gaia.

everytime i ask my dad to teach me how to fix something, he just goes out and does it for me. pisses me off, so since he's ou tof town for the next 2 years, i'm just ogingot by an old a** beater and learn to deal with it myself.

Ahh, my dad was kindof like that too... though he didn't like me being around when he was fixing anything because he didn't like swearing around me, and didn't want me to get hurt, so I kindof got shooed away when he was working on things and never really got the chance to learn. -_-* He actually is a mechanic for the gas company too, so he knows what he is doing (most of the time).

dad's just a control freak, and doesn't want me to get an old car "Because it'll break down every week" but really because he had to seel his old cars, and if i get one, he'll be jealous.

Generally parts aren't all that expensive, but the labor and having the right tools for the job does get pricy. A well stocked toolbox is not cheap.
