Actually, I say give them a special property that makes them more unique. Like overdrives for example.

An overdrive would be hard to make. If thats the case just make its basic attack like an overdrive. confused

Hmm....well maybe like the summonings from FF13. each summon can have like three different attacks. (Though the summoning will have to be limited to one use per fihgt or area so as not to godmod). Like...crap i dont remember Mars or Lunar's summonings to make an example. sweatdrop

K So example:
Temporal Tiger
Attack 1- Makes the caster teleport anywhere
Attack 2- The tiger comes out and engulfs the enemy in acidic mist (lol idk just making random ones for thought)
Attack 3- The tiger comes out and fights for the caster.
just random exapmples, they can be better considering i dont know Lunar's summon that well xd

So maybe a Synergist (to use for your own needs) attack, then a stronger enemy targeted attack, and then the strognest of all the Physical form of your summon? IDK what do you guys think?

Hm. Seems common for a moshi. Try this for an example. And for the record, it may try and seem like its legendary and powerful hence the last part of the name.
Neo-Behemoth

Hellish roar- Gives a violent roar so heinous it increases attack power tremendously
Shocking whiplash- Jumps a full 360 while swinging his tail so fast it may cause paralysis
