He dozes off only to awaken sometime later opening his eyes to stare into a tiny wizened face. Crash has a musical triangle in one hand and a small metal rod in the other. Seeing Kero's eyes open he sulks.

"Now I dun get to try me new chime..." he grumbles, tucking it away in his shirt. Then he grins as he looks at Luna. Snatching it back out he begins to strike it rapidly.

"Wakey.... wakey..." he laughs as she jumps several feet into the air. How a sound so large from something so small is beyond the mage's comprehension, but then neither of the Smash Twin's methods are done on a small scale.

"Wha... wha... wha..... wha dat?" she stammers in alarm. "Whar firwa?"

The brownie's eyes get wide with concern. "Crash no mean to scare.... I'm sorry, little shiny one.... But Champhy said I was to make sure you got up for dinner, Master ... she says you need to eat... lots... you too skinny again."

"Who dat?" demands Luna staring at the tiny man before her. She has never seen anyone that small talk before... well no humanoids that size who could talk. Lyssan did introduce her to a bird on the ship that loved to shout insults at the crew, but after awhile it had gotten extremely boring to speak with, as it only repeated what she said.

Crash grins from ear to ear. "Then you better bring your hunger to the table tonight. She's gone overboard. The table's groaning in protest. I heard it myself. It plainly told her that if she put one more dish on it, it would break in two.... and no one should argue with the table."

"The table talks..." echoes Luna in confusion as Crash runs from the room, using one of his secret passageways to return to his chores.

At the sound of the word food, Luna's eyes get round with delight. "I hungwy... wots hungwy... We go now?" she begs, nibbling gently on his chin for emphasis.

The dining hall is packed to capacity, every seat about the table is occupied except for two, one of which sports a sturdy booster seat, Amestru nods a greeting as Kero enters with Luna in his arms. Her seat is next to Lyssan. Kero's is beside hers. And as Crash stated, the table is indeed complaining... loudly, in fact, is several different languages.

Luna looks at Kero and giggles. "Table talks..." she states merrily.

Lyssan laughs and shakes her head. "Sorry about that. Averus was experimenting with some kind of spell and it warped the table. It's now, sentient and normally quite happy to serve it's purpose... but I fear Champhy overdid dinner this evening."

Finally Amestru brings his hand down with a sharp slap and the table falls silent. "That is enough. We have guests and your load will not get any lighter if all you do is argue with them." he growls at the table. Then calmly, as if nothing has gone wrong he begins to fill his plate and pass the dish in his hands to Lyssan, who fills her own plate and adds some to Luna's. It is a fruit salad that looks quite tempting. Handing it to Kerobian, she then places some bread and a piece of chicken on Luna's plate as well.

"Eat up, Sweetie... I told the cook you were a growing girl and it looks like she's fixed all your favorites."

"She made fiwsh?" asks Luna looking about for a plate of fried fish.

Kai lifts up a heaping platter to show her, but it happens to be at the far end.

Luna grins widely. "I wuv fiwsh..."

Lyssan chuckles. "Like I love chicken... I can't believe we once shared the same body... Our tastes are so different."

"I me an' You you...." says Luna firmly digging into her food with a hungry relish.

Amestru chuckles warmly. "No truer words have ever been spoken... she's definitely her own person, Lyssie... no doubt about that."

Luciel looks up and gives Kero a wink, then concentrates on his dinner. But Kero notices the flowers in the dish before Kai have developed a decidedly rosy blush.

Kai looks up and seeing this, stares daggers down the table, while Keveka rolls his eyes and pretends he doesn't notice.
