"I didn't even notice I did that... It was a deep sleep..." He muttered, turning red from embarrassment. He glanced over at Denji, who was drinking water. "Are we going to Zora's Domain?" Mercutio asked, noticing that his hands were wrapped too.
"Yes, but he has to be very careful. If he comes back with one more scratch..." Impa shook her head. "He was a mess last night. He tried to go all by himself, still bleeding and everything..."
"We're falling behind!" Denji muttered defensively.
"That's no excuse for your reckless behaviour. That was very foolish of you to do! What happened if you got killed? The rest of Hyrule would die with you!" Impa shouted back, making Denji look away.

She smiled and added quietly, "...I wouldn't mind you doing it again..." She then turned and looked at Denji. "You can't expect to do it by yourself! You have to be careful! Besides that what friends are for... to look out for each other so they don't get hurt." She nibbled on some bread and peach she had found. She glanced at Mercutio and offered him a bite. "This is really good... we don't have anything like this where I am from... Do you like it?"

"You don't have bread?" Mercutio asked, then looked at Denji. He looked away. Was he so intent on saving Hyrule that he would throw away his life for it? Mercutio chewed on the bread. "And no worries Impa, I can treat him if anything happens."

Kaylene shook her head. "No... we just eat a lot of veggies and fruits... but we at a lot of fish too. I did live on an ocean..." She looked back to Denji then sighed. Hopefully he wouldn't try anything reckless... that wasn't exactly what they needed at the moment...

"You two eat something, then we're going. All I have to do is not get hurt." Denji mumbled quietly. The conversations struck a nerve and made rather quiet and boring.

Kaylene perked up excited. She loved water. Especially with her mermaid form, She would make a big help to Denji in Mercutio. "So how far is it from here?" She asked as she grabbed a bag she had packed with a bed roll and some cooking supplies.

"Not too far, I don't think..." Mercutio muttered. "Mind if I ride in that bag of yours?" He asked curiously. He wasn't in the mood to go. Unlike Kaylene, Mercutio hated water.

Kaylene nodded. "Sure! I wouldn't mind at all. Though I kinda was hoping that you would talk to me on the way there.. but I guess that is okay... I can talk with the trouble maker." She laughed trying to cover up her disappointment.

"I'll translate his meowing..." Denji muttered.

Kaylene froze. Suddenly her cheeks reddened and she smiled. She looked away and answered Denji. "Thanks... I'll appreciate that a lot." She was still shocked... yet happy at the same time. He said... he loved me... I can't believe it... I thought I was only imagining things... I just can't... believe... this..

Denji smiled and shook his head, then exited through the door. Everyone else was already outside, ready to leave. Denji joined them, practically covered in bandages. Escalus was pretty firm about no one healing him.

Kaylene was practically jumping for joy. She was so excited. She had traveled just to go on adventures, just like this one. She glanced at Denji, but not even the sight of his wounds could bring her down now...

Denji lead the way. About halfway there, Denji stopped suddenly and sat down, panting. The journey hadn't even got heard yet and he was exhausted. No help from the wounds of course.

Kaylene stopped, her legs were sore, but she would be okay. She appreciated the rest and sat down to relax. "'Bout how much farther would you say?"

”Stupid wounds... I wouldn't have needed to stop...” Denjii mumbled to himself angrily. Askari sighed and looked away from him.
”We're about halfway there,” Askari answered, placing supportive hands on Denji's shoulder softly. She was afraid of upsetting his wounds. Old, silly, reckless Denji. Of course he would risk his life to save another lie, but she found it weird that Denji started out hating Mercutio. He was afraid that Mercutio would steal her heart.
