Keveka's smile fades slightly as he sadly shakes his head. "Had I any recourse, it would have been held elsewhere, Uncle Kero. I truly would have wanted you to be able to attend, but Kai's mother was quite adamant that the wedding be held there. Uprooting Kai was bad enough, but she was going to a permanent garden elsewhere. For her mother to transplant her own tree, even on a temporary basis, would have been detrimental to her well being. And as her father was also tied in a similar manner to his own grove, which borders her mother's shade, it seemed only proper that we hold it there, where they could attend. I knew you would understand. And I did send an invite, just in case you could figure someway to show your face."

Keveka smiles widely and nods. "Pretty and wise. And normally even tempered... but there is a certain small dragon who seems to have managed to raise her dander up a bit. Did he tell you what he did? On our wedding day, he and his little dragon friends decided that white was simply not her color and dyed the blossoms of her tree a bright pink. I'm not sure when she'll forgive him... though she does laugh about it now... behind his back. Sometimes I think she is staying miffed at him because they like to fight..."

Keveka chuckles. "Yeah, the two of ye are always going at it... good thing I know yer never serious. Anyway. Luna could probably use the nursery. Not mine and Kai's... that's attached to our apartment. But the one you used to use and Luciel.... Mom keeps it kept up for any relapses on yer part... so I know it's aired and clean... and it's well stocked with books and toys. How old is she anyway. She appears to be about 5 or six from the size of her, but she's a bit longer than you were at that age."

"I'll see what Mom has in mind for her. What's her temperment.... anything like you two? And does she have any preferences for food? I've not dealt with any of her breed before... I'll need to let Champhy know what to fix for her. Can't have her chasing down the chickens ye know, just because she is feeling a bit peckish...." Keveka says this with a smile, but there is a touch of concern in his eyes as well. He knows his dragons and although he trusts his mentor and understands Kero would not bring a dangerous one into the realm, he's isn't sure what to think about letting a small supposedly evil dragon roaming free.

He visibly relaxes and nods happily. "Good... that's very good to hear. Mom and Dad have turned the running of the realm over to me now, so I needed to be sure. I was going to set up my own pocket, but for some strange reason, Dad thought it best I take over the management of this one. He claimed I was already keyed into it, so I should take advantage of the fact. What with Tam off with Bez, and Luciel and you never around, I'm the only one they have left at home. At least that is what Kai says. She thinks they are looking forward to our little bud almost as much as we are... though Mom has been spending an enormous amount of time away of late."

Now Keva truly relaxes. "Really.... Mom has had a hand in raising her? Then I know everything will be just fine and knowing her. Luna will have herown bed to sleep in tonight. No doubt about that. So all I have to do now is give ye a hug, Uncle and tell ye dinner is at the usual time... you look a little beat yourself. Maybe while she sleeps you might do the same. Or should I warn Champhy to get the goodie jar ready?" He embraces Kero warmly, then starts to fade and hovers there, half visible, waiting for his answer. It is pretty impressive how well he's able to handle the state and a good indication of just how mature as a kitsune, he grown. Being a creature more spirit than flesh, he flows now from one form to the next.

The ghostly visage winks then blinks out without a sound, allowing him to rest in a peaceful quiet, broken only by the soft snores of the tiny dragon that is currently hogging his pillow.
