*Kero groans*
You mean he's fallen apart?! Great....all of us are going to have to put him back together again....this could take weeks...

"Well... at least he's contained... no stray bits hanging or dangling about. Ye did make sure ye were free of any trace err ye jumped back out... right?" says Tam joining them.

Yeah...nothing on me....and I'm going back in...see if I can't marshal some semblence of order into that pup's mind...oooh...he is in so much trouble when he's fixed...I told him to practice...and not to experiment...

Ye'll need a focus, something to act as a magnet for his essence. What gems do ye have presently here? I'd prefer a fairly strong crystalline lattice to build my framework about, but as long as it is pure enough it should suffice." says Ame thoughtfully. "I'd rather stall and be prepared than have ye go in more than ye need to."

*Kero shakes his head*
None pure enough for work like this...unless...the ring!!!!
*Turns to Tam*
Do you still have that ring...from right after my escapade with airplanes...remember that sentient gem I found?!

Tam looks at him with a puzzled expression. "Yeah.... I think so... but would ye really want to form Keva around a smart alec, bad-mouthing sentient gem. Isn't he bad enough on his own without reinforcing it through what will eventually become a soul graft?

*Kero nods*
Good point...but I have only three other gems that are suitable...and only one isn't sentient...do we really want Keva reformed around an Emerald?

Ame looks up. "Emeralds are said to heal a troubled mind. ANd right now.... I'm going out on a limb and saying that even if we pull him together correctly, he's going to be a mess for some time to come. And Kero... While talking to the boy I learned ye advised my son not to use his jar... but to form a globe... I think I know what the problem is here, iffin that was what he was trying to do."

*Kero nods*
Okay...spill it...and you're right...I had forgotten that Emeralds have that power...*Reaches into the Void and pulls forth the largest Emerald Tam has ever seen...polished to a Cabochon, it shows as deep green as a pine forest...and somehow, Kero has carved the inside of the gem...so it sparkles with brilliance under it's smooth, clean exterior*...
This should do the trick, then...and Ame, I told him not to use his jar because it is dangerous for a shapeshifter, using the visual sense to aid their working, to not use a clear conatiner...if they turn it opaque, they risk seperating their mental essence from that of their body...and if that happens, then they can't change back...

Amestru nods, but we use jars for a reason... not only to protect and safeguard but also to remain whole. Thing is we need a portal on that container, so most of the kami use spirit jars or boxes. Things that can be opened with ease from either side. If he was trying to form a globe or sphere, he probably figured out really quick that he would be trapped if he did it from within... but what would have happened had he not noticed this until the last second... just as he was sealing himself within and jumped out of it in panic...."

*Kero nods*
Makes sense...and I wish I had known about that sooner...alright...so we need to reconstruct him around this gem, using our magic to bolster it's natural abilities...and then I will build him a compartment for his essence myself, using the energy of the gem.

Just make sure it has an escape hatch... one we can lock... Kev's going to be one mad hatter when we finally get him together." says Tam with a weak grin. "I, for one... don't want to face him until he's sane... "
Amestru grins back. "He'll be find.. as long as we keep him balanced and I think our little mind healer here can help with that."

I'll handle the gem....I've the most experience with them....Tam, you keep everyone notified...Pasa, you handle the balance...Ame, you scout and locate which pieces need assistance...Bez and Em, you go with Pasa and Ame, help them with whatever needs doing...bring any pieces of Keva's essence to me, for placing into the crystal.

Tam nods. "I wish I could help more..."
Amestru is on his feet in a second. "You will see to your girls. They, not Keva, need you." He turns from the startled bard to Bez. "You are a hunter, correct? My son was taught how to track and how to avoid detection... he will test your ability to your ability to seen the unseen to the core. But find him, I beg of you... find all of him."
Bez nods silently and waits for Passura to collect him.

*Kero waits, gem in hand, wrinkling his nose as Ari leaves a gift for Tam...and when they are all assembled, dives in, angling towards the center, where the jar once stood*
