Sekhmet DondeanaD Sekhmet its a form of JRock (japanese rock). THe bands that are classified as Visual Kei are bands that usually aren't mainstream in Japan and are classified, not by their music, but by their visual style. Examples: Dir en Grey, Malice Mizer, Gazette.... and many many more ^^; sounds interesting they are! ever heard any Dir en Grey stuff? actually haven't heard of much outside the US really, mostly I listen to oldies (60s, 70s, 80s music) and Christian rock.

I listen to various stuff... punk (especially old school), oi, hardcore, (the real) emo once in a while, occasionally oldies rock, ska (a lot), occasionally some metal, ethnic/world/traditional... and much more, really.
Try to avoid mainstream thing though... Works sometimes.
