pug draws drunk on fridays. looks crappier than usual but takes longer to draw. alcohol does that. this guy is friends with the guys i drew for monochrome blue and green.
This took me close to an hour an a half and was tedious as hell. FML
Seriously, does anyone have suggestions for books/tutorials/etc for perspective? Because I'm doing it the way I THINK is supposed to be done and it's #1 taking me forever and #2 not producing an acceptable (in my mind) product. I've gotten books from the library on perspective before but I haven't found them useful. Maybe it's like math, where I HAVE to sit down and do the boring exercises... if so, I'll do them. But yeeeah perspective sucks.
Drawn off of a googled picture: http://blog.center4tobaccopolicy.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/09/iStock_convenience-store.jpg I always feel bad doing this but it really is just a study.
Ok, so this is how I explain it. There is a fish shop called "The Angler's Fish Pet Shop", followed by an antique store that is open 24 hours a day. The last store is a hip hop fashion and equipment store. To incorporate tears, there is a little girl on the top floor of the fish pet shop that dropped her fishbowl, and is crying. Lastly, it's all in monochrome pink. biggrin
That architecture was so much fun to make. It's loosely based on several pictures that I found when Googling "street".
