Bloodfang reached the edge of a bog, and saw a vine. "Got no other choice." A stone hit him on his head, and he began climbing the vine.

The arrow went flying towards Bloodfang. He tried running, but tripped and the arrow went through his stomach.

"Bloodfang! Are you ok?" Singeclaw sat Bloodfang flat on the grass. "I'm going to have to pull the arrow out. " He grasped the arrow, and pulled.

Singeclaw successfully pulled the blood-covered arrow out of Bloodfang's stomach. "Singeclaw! I have to go back and kill Barrack!"

As Barrack was asleep, in his dream, he saw Salamandastron being taken over by rats. Bloodfang leading.Then he saw the badger overtaken by hordes in his sleep. When he woke, he did not know what it meant.

When Singeclaw fell asleep, Bloodfang got up. He called a rat named Demoneye to him. "You're going to help me kill Barrack!"
