Erotique Innocente Gosu/ero Alice in Wonderland outfit... it took me a whole month to do it! (But I think I should tighten my ribons a little more, next time sweatdrop ) http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u55/Stygian_Lady/Superduperpic00.jpg I like your dress its very pretty^^ it looks like you have done a great job on it. However the only things i don't care for are those arm warmers and the stockings. I'm sorry to say this but the stockings make your legs look funky, but maybe you could try a different style of sock? perhaps one that isn't see through and sew some of that lovely edge lace on to them. The arm warmers i think if you took them off you would look cuter, maybe use some black lace as wrist cuffs? I think that would make your dress even more stunning ^-^ I'm terribly sorry if i was too bold..it is not my intention to be mean ^^;

I have to agree. The stockings and arm warmers are just not right for the outfit--I'm also kind of questioning the black blouse [is it a blouse? Or part of the dress, it's hard to tell] since the rest is so dominated by white.
It looks well make, however; and it seems like you chose your materials with care.

Yeah... actually it is a black dress with a white apron sweatdrop . I know the had warmers are weird, but I wanted to had the "stripped socks" theme in and original way... I think it failed emo . Maybe if I added some black lace on their edges? For the legs, I admit they look weird on the picture, but they are not like this all the time xd , but I agree lace would be nicer on the fishnets. Overall, I wanted the whole outfit to be more Punk and less Sweet, but I will try to add more lace to it to have a better overall picture.

It's not so much the stripes as that the stripes are very thin, and the style of the dress isn't suited to the arm warmers. The sleeves make the matching awkward. I think that a pair of gloves that stop at or just above the wrist would look much more appropriate for that particular sleeve length if you want something on your hands.
Maybe white gloves with a bit of black ribbon at the wrist?

The shirt isn't really my style, but it's cute. As for the blue skirt, I think that maybe the tiers of ruffles need to be closer together and poofed out a bit more from the hips. Maybe a poofier petticoat could help it? It looks a bit heavy and flat.
Did you sew the ruffles each onto their own base? Or are they all sewn to one layer at different levels? [Just curious]

They're sewn on a seperate layer at different levels, I wasn't wearing a petticoat since I was just trying it on, I'm not used to wearing anything related to sweet lolita the skirt seemed like a big ol puff ball to me when I put it on XD. The shirt was actually made to go with a jumper I made last year...I don't know how that is relevant to anything...^_^ Thanks for your input though.
I'm going to start trying to make a dress from BPN soon. Back to the dark colors I go!

Full ShotDetail01Detail02The dress, not the blouse (Moi Meme Moitie heart ) Technically, it isn't 100% finished in the images (a few minor finishing touches left to be done in them), but I like these shots best. I also am finishing up on a hat to match this (a Beret), which I will post as soon as I get pictures. ^_^

Cryrin, you have amazing style, and excellent sewing skills. When I finish sewing my friend's vest and other friend's coat, I'll get back to finishing up my own clothing, so I have something to show, as well. I think I never showed pictures of things I finished a couple months ago, so I'll have to remedy that.
