Okay, rolling a lore: bushido roll to determine if refusing to approach something that he has been given reason to believe could be a ghost would be cowardly or otherwise considered dishonorable as 'fleeing battle' or such.

That's more your call than mine. But it's not like you actively sought out a ghost, found it, THEN refused to approach it. Your primarily responsibility now is to Miya Ayame more than these peasants or yourself. This girl is not directly threatening Miya Ayame (to the best of your knowledge) so it's really such an unrelated matter, that I doubt honor would play a factor. There is no dishonor in NOT rushing forward to meet a possible enemy head on. Taking time to analyze the situation and determine if someone is friend or foe is not a sign of weakness. ((Unless you're Crab, of course)) But it is ultimately your decision if Tsuyoshi considers his actions cowardly, not mine.

His family's treatment and position, and his drive to change this have only exacerbated things, and the well meaning samurai finds it hard not to try and find some way to save the day, or do right, no matter where he ends up, all the better to show that everything they said about his great-grandfather is wrong.Driven [Mental] (2)Tsuyoshi's family name has been stained- and to him, he seems the only one sufficiently concerned with cleaning it. Besides potentially souring his marriage already, the burn to make a new name for his family always incenses him to action- usually trying to be honorable, but anything to show that he is not a traitor or a coward, leading to quite a bit of glory seeking. I'll be posting shortly.
