Hey guys I just wanted to let you all know I'm going to be helping my brother drive his stuff cross country and get moved in to his new place so I'll probably be out of internet contact during most of that time. I'll be getting back on July 5th.

For the players new to PBP forum games: One thing worth mentioning, less to do with game rules and more of forum etiquette, is not to edit/erase posts that have been responded to. To an extent, that also covers deleting posts (especially in the dice roll thread), which makes it look like you got a bad roll and didn't want the DM to see. (For the record, guild crew CAN see, in a separate log).
But it's the edit this time that's spawning this message, not a delete, so no worries. Sometimes I, or other people, may want to look back at previous posts for reference, or simply to recap themselves. Or, if a new player joins and wants to catch him-or-herself up on what happens, it's more confusing if things get changed around, making them wonder "why did the DM say this? It doesn't make sense in this context!" Generally, what's done is done.
When I play, I limit my edits as either fixing grammar/punctuation, or simply adding to the post (generally after I type "EDIT:" and write in what I'm adding). Anything more, you should ask permission from the DM in an OOC thread (or if you think it's necessary, via PM) before making any other sorts of changes. 3nodding

I think at this point, input in the RP thread is needed from every player, not just 1 ^-^

Sorry, thank for the reminder. I've been so busy in other thread that I sort of forgot about this one.

Kowsauni Sorry, thank for the reminder. I've been so busy in other thread that I sort of forgot about this one. I've been meaning to ask, what's your wife using for the map? I -used- to have a really really old version of photoshop, but between moving then having to get a new computer when the old one died, I don't have it anymore. I got this program with this one, Corel Paintshop Pro, but it's very clunky and not good to use. I'm hoping to avoid buying an expensive newer version of photoshop, so I'm hoping you have a suggestion?

My wife uses Photoshop 7.0, which is quite old at this point. She is so use to using it at this point she doesn't want to upgrade. It came out in 2002 so you might be able to find a used copy somewhere for cheap.

So even 7.0 would be a major upgrade to what I was used to ^-^''''' UPDATE: I'll keep my eye on ebay in the near future. Currently, there is a Photoshop CS2 that ends tomorrow for $40, I may go for that one.

I ended up getting a relisting of the CS2 item (they said they wanted payments in 24 hours, so I suspect the last winner couldn't deliver). But yeah, I should have photoshop back within the week!
Soonish, I'll be getting a tablet too, so maybe I can finally FINALLY art my RPs ^-^

My wife does everything on her tablet. She's still using the same one her dad bought her way back in high school.

I'm getting the impression that the newbie players bailed on us. Thoughts?

Hmm, I feel like they might have lost interest. I was waiting for Mikah to to do something before I posted again. We should send them a PM and see if they are still interested. If not we either need to recruit some more people for this or retire it.

I know Raganui Minamoto's been chomping at the bit to do fantasy. I don't know if he'll do 4th E though.

Plainsfox I know Raganui Minamoto's been chomping at the bit to do fantasy. I don't know if he'll do 4th E though. As much as I love 4e, if I were to replace the game, I honestly don't have any stories in mind. So I may default to that Midnight campaign setting I vaunted before.

Tell me, Kowsauni... have you ever heard of (or perhaps even, played in?) the Midnight campaign setting before?
