Dion Necurat In deciding powers, I notice that once I hit level 3, I can channel my range attacks into melee attacks. That being the case, would it be beneficial in the long run to multiclass into Monk? It is a common build, but I have to ask; what power has that?

OOOOOHHHHh!!!!! You mean the Martial Keneticist, the one for Psychic Warrior. I thought you was meaning the Psion's normal Discipline.Clears up a few things... xp

Except, Psychic warriors automatically gain 2 talents, instead of discipline limited. Edit: also, Go with Force Screen... The armor power, doesn't stack with actual armor

Did I read that accurately, and if so, does me having Energy Ray also grant me a bonus talent?

Yes, you did read that accurately, and as for Energy Ray... I would ask the DM, it doesn't say that it is a talent, but as written it acts like one.

Energy Ray is not a talent, but Martial Kineticist gains it as a free power, which also grants Energy Splash as a free talent, by extension. You start with 2 talents, and you get talents after that based on which powers you choose that might be linked with them.

WhimsicalXellos Energy Ray is not a talent, but Martial Kineticist gains it as a free power, which also grants Energy Splash as a free talent, by extension.
