Mauimango7 Lucca Ashtear Here I've been using 'lemon' to refer to ANY sex scene, not just yaoi... have I been wrong? Or maybe it's regional... Lemon means any sex. Homo, or Hetro. Of course yaoi lemons the best. XD Okay, just wanted to clear that up. 3nodding As for yaoi being the best kind of lemon, I must humbly disagree. All lemons are created equal! 4laugh Well, except the ones that are badly written. But that can happen with anything.

I can't live without my lemons , when some series ended without the couple I was cheering for got it going on >___>

Those other lemons ain't bad either.
... Although when people talk about the "Homo or Hetero" lemons, I think of a lemon with a sexual preference.

The term "Lemon" is still commonly used in the Fanfic circle, though I've been noticing that many writers are just begining to rate them.
The rating, NC-17 has now seemed to have taken the place of "Lemon". I'm a fanfic junkie.

heh, I feel kinda sad now. Apparently, the "lemon" rating system is going out of fashion. I was talking to a younger yaoi fan the other day and she had no idea what I meant by lemon. (and believe me, she's recommended some fics to me that were definitely lemons.) Looks like the term is unfortunately fazing out in some circles. emo
I guess I'm sad because I've always marked that as a sort of "rite of passage" into yaoi-ism. (Since you always have to figure it out yourself, because you're too embarassed to ask your friends. 3nodding )
