((*Ponders* I wonder if I CAN get Apollo made, it would be true that his design would change from what I have just described him as but still...God Apollo would be awesome to have around here. XD))
"Technically, that would be GodDESS" she said as she shook her head "and no, he is not THE Apollo, do you honestly think I would be hanging around you if I was a demi goddess?" She said playfully joking, even if she was she wouldn't discriminate against a 'commoner' like that "I'm kidding" she said to him "he is just named after the God" she said as she looked at her father "daddy, can you please help us? I wish to contact the dead."
"Can I please do it daddy?! I do wish to help the ghosts go to the other side..."
Apollo looked at his youngest daughter and nodded "sure darling" he said as he looked at Gersif and Odessa "that is alright with you isnt it?"
"I have no problem with it...you?" She said looking to Gersif.

Gersif visually relaxed, relieved and disappointed at the same time, he would love to meet another god, just not right now, not under these circumstances. Gersif smiled at her thankful for the joke, it helped him relax it really did.
He looked to the young child who had spoken up, she was quite young to be so powerful, a prodigy, quite special. He nodded his consent, if they were already here following Odessa and himself he had no issue with it, let them be put to rest. He felt much more assured by the small child who held no reason to lie and with no prompt to mention the ghosts, no guilt fueling her need for contact. "A child with such a gift should be allowed to have it grow and blossom" he smiled. She reminded him a bit of himself at a much more innocent time in his life. So full of life happiness and talent, pure raw unadulterated talent. He would like to see how such a child thrives in a loving home, the adult she will make. He expected she would be brilliantly beautiful in her abilities.

Electra grinned, her first time actually doing a cross over, it would of been more had her parents not wanted her to wait till she was a little more experienced but meh, whatever, she was able to do it now so that was good "thank you daddy!"
"You're welcome, darling, just make sure you listen to everything your sister says alright?"
"I Will daddy!" She said as she ran over and nuzzled him.
Odessa smiled at Gersif "I do agree, though daddy has a little trouble in letting her do that, he is all for letting her talent grow but she has a few limitations placed on her but mostly it comes down to him not wanting her to get hurt, he doesn't want some horrible ghost seek out her help just to back stab her and end up hurting her so it would be best if she grew a bit more and understood a few more things before actually doing something like this but since it is me and the ghosts seem friendly well...I am good practise for her."
Electra looked at the ghosts and walked over to them "excuse me, can you please tell me your names? I wish to help you but I need to know your names first" she said gently to them, hoping they wouldn't be hostile.
The male ghost looked up at the child and then back at his mate and shook his head sombrely as he disappeared, leaving his mate to deal with it, at this point in time he just wasn't fully up to speaking to others yet.
Calliope smiled sombrely at the child "my mate is Morpheus and I am Calliope, I want to see my son, please take me to him" she begged, hoping she would take her to him, hoping to see Morpheus on the way, it was true they saw him earlier but, as a parent of a pup she just wanted to spend all her time around him especially when she knew now that she would have to leave soon now that hers and Morpheus' business will be over with by the end of their time together.
Electra nodded "I will as soon as I figure out who your son is" she said to the ghost.
"So?" Odessa asked her sister.
"Son?" Her sister asked her sister.
"That doesn't exactly tell us much, care to not ask question with a question, we will never get anywhere" she said as she smiled a little at her sister.
"Sorry, the 'son' I am talking about is apparently someone this ghost knows whos name, I may add, is Calliope and her mate is Morpheus but he has decided to leave the building for a bit, I take it you know these guys" she asked, not having been here when Odessa came around before, she came home near the end of it so she missed what had happened earlier.
Odessa looked wide eyed at her sister, eyes brimming with tears "t...that is Olivers mother and fathers name!" She said as she looked at Gersif "daddy, mom, we have to get going, I think we need to tend to this with Sayako and Thane" she said as she went and nuzzled both her parents "I will come see you tomorrow with Oliver" she said as she kissed them both then left "come on Electra, we will take Calliope to Thanes" she called back.
Electra didn't have to be told twice "we will take you to your son" she said to the ghost as she started after her sister, the ghost following.
((And the descriptions will come at a later date, I don't know what Oliver looks like under his coat let alone his parents so their descriptions will come later. XD
And easier said then done, I don't even know if Manda will allow 'RL' mythological deities *will have to ask.* ))

Gersif was amused that she still called her parents 'daddy' and 'mommy' it was.... sweet. "That's perfectly understandable, certainly don't want her getting in over her head but with so many experienced mediums around I can't see that she could get into too much trouble when supervised." He smiled at Electra letting her know he was on her side. He watched her commune with the ghosts uneasy about it all but still able to admire her work.
Gersif wondered at Odessa's emotional exclamation his eyebrow cocked, that was who she had been hoping to talk to so why so emotional? He didn't like the whole taking the ghosts to talk to their son part though.. not that he couldn't understand their desire and that they had every right... in so far as a ghost can have, but what really bothered him was that.. well... how were they suppose to be Oliver's parents when his parents were going to see him as ghosts? Electra has no motivation to lie and he has no right to ask her to do so... so how were they going to explain it? It had him uneasy. Did the parents not approve of them? Were they going to blow their cover? He frowned playing out all the possible out comes in his head.
He looked to Odessa who was walking off, then to her parents trying to decide the best course of action but he got little from any so he hauled himself up and followed Odessa looking back at her parents "It was a pleasure however brief." A nod of the head for goodbye and he turned back to continue after Odessa, the chain on his neck seeming to have grown heavier the ring thumping against his chest with every step, it felt like he had two heart beats, one calm and sure and the other erratic and uneasy. He took a deep breath focusing centering praying. He reassured himself the gods had a plan that everything would would out fine... he didn't believe himself...

Electra had waited till she was out of the cave till she started running after her sister "Dessa! Wait up!" She said, wishing her sister would remember she wasn't an adult yet so her short legs couldn't keep up with her.
Odessa slowed down and waited for her sister "I'm sorry" she said as she nuzzled her sister as she came close "want to ride on my back? It is going to be a long way back."
Electra nodded "yes please" she said as she watched her sister lay down and she climbed onto her back, making sure she was comfy before nodding to her sister "you can go."
"Alright" she said as she got up and waited for Gersif "Calliope and Morpheus, why are they hanging around us?"
"Because, you and Mr Gersif have something that once belonged to them, whilst they have a deep connection to their son they also have a deep connection to the rings you and Mr Gersif wear" she said as Calliope whispered into her ear about the inscriptions on the backs of the rings.
"Calliope just said that they promised to bind themselves to each other through their rings when they officially got 'married' or 'mated' or whatever you want to call it, but given they also have unfinished business they are more or less hanging around the rings more then Oliver because the rings are a symbol of their ever lasting love, devotion and their bond to each other and the rings."
"Well, I guess that explains it" she said as she looked around her, wanting to ask her many things but can't...at least not yet anyway, it was best they spoke to Calliope and Morpheus when they were back with Thane and Sayako.

Gersif had been just about to pick Electra up and give her a ride when her protest caused Odessa to do so instead. So long as Electra was happy it didn't matter to him who helped.
When she talked of the rings he instinctively looked down at it hanging around his neck the smooth metal glinting in the start light so small yet so powerful. It made sense he had seen it before, objects holding souls in place, perhaps that was why his family never stayed, they had nothing left to keep them here save himself. He let the thoughts float through and away like a lazy cloud paying it little attention. "Can you ask their thoughts on us?" Referring to Odessa and himself taking their place as parents, did they hate them? Did they want to expose them? How was this all going to play out?

"I don't wish to discuss that now, Morpheus and I still need to talk some things over" Calliope spoke up before Electra could ask her.
Electra shook her head "right now she doesn't wish to speak about any feelings for or against you or Dessa, she and Morpheus still have things to discuss on the matter" she said as she looked back at Calliope.
Odessa nodded "understandable..." she said as she looked at her sister "is Morpheus back" she asked curiously.
Electra shook her head "no, he isn't" she said with a soft sigh, wondering where he went off to.
"I feel him near though I don't know where, he will turn up though, just needs a little space" she said, knowing Morpheus to be like this at times when things were getting a little on top of him.
"He just needs space, he will be back" she said as they carried on towards the lake.

Gersif didn't like the way that sounded, ominous... he sighed... so much for being a family man he frowned disappointment showing on his face. He really had been looking forward to it, now it was just a matter of time before they were outed. He whipped his face clean of emotion not wanting to upset the others or get into the habit of having emotional swings. If they were going to take Oliver it was their right as parents so long as no harm came to Oliver in the process. They were right too to reserve judgment and get to know Odessa and himself better... none of that made the walk any better. He felt as though he were on the walk to the executioner's block his head ready to be served on a platter.
He set his jaw in a determined manner. He would see it through to the end no matter how it hurt. It was his folly and he would pay the price. Someday maybe he could find himself a family properly rather than faking one. His emotions knotted in his chest and throat, he didn't dare speak for a while for fear of giving away his emotional state. He just... he just needed... he didn't know. He had everything he did this morning and had never wanted for anything more... but now? Now he wanted to leave that old life behind, to be happy to finally be happy rather than just surviving. Couldn't he have that? Couldn't he for once in his life after all this time be happy?
He shook his head trying to regain his control of his own self, he was only making things worse, the axe had not yet fallen a stay of execution might yet be at hand, perhaps even a pardon he needn't be making his epitaph just yet. He took a deep ragged breath catching on the knot in his throat. Just get through the night he told himself it will be better in the morning after a good rest and a clear head, you were unwise to be come so invested so early and now you shall lose for it. Whatever happens you will get through this you always have, don't lose faith. Don't lose faith.

As they walked on Odessa was trying to stay hopeful herself, she wasn't much of a worrier and always believed that if things were to happen then they happened for a reason so even if she lost Oliver, as much as she has grown to love him, it was happening for a reason, she may not like the reason but she had to deal with it the best way she could.
After the 40 minute walk they were finally had the lake in sight but still no Morpheus, she thought that he would of turned up by now but hadn't...oh well maybe we would find him with Sayako "Gersif, do you remember where Thane lived? I wasn't really paying much attention when we were there last so..."
"Thane..." Calliope said softly, if she could cry she would have, she owed him so much, he and Sayako both gave her and Morpheus the greatest loyalty and friendship either of them could have ever asked for and whilst she did only see Thane and Sayako earlier, technically, but now she was going to actually speak to them in a way and that was a bit emotional for her, especially after how she died, there was so much she was meant to say to them and yet the time has yet albeit all too soon, she knew her and Morpheus had to leave this realm but still, Thane and Sayako had become her only family except for Morpheus and Oliver and after the way she died with Thane there...feelings and thoughts of that fateful day were coming back to here and now, more then ever, she just wanted Morpheus there with her.
Morpheus appeared beside her moments later, having felt her and knew it was time to come back to her "I am sorry for being away for so long my dearest, please forgive me" he asked, nuzzling her and just keeping close to her.
"Morpheus, thank you for returning" she said as she kept close to him "and of course I forgive you, I always will" Odessa said as she looked at him as they both walked through a tree "soon my darling, out time here will be coming to an end for good, we can finally rest and yet as much as I understand and know we can no longer be here I just don't wish to leave our son and our friends" she said as she looked up at him sadly.
"I know my dearest, I don't wish to leave them either, I wish I could stay with them but you and I both have family on the other side waiting for us, we shouldn't keep them waiting any longer then we have been" Morpheus said with a sigh.
"I know darling but seeing them all again, 'properly' this time and knowing the end is near just makes me hate what is going to happen when I know we have to leave, this will be the last time we can see our son from such close range, it's hard" she said as she fell silent and rested her head against his shoulder.
"It is, I agree, but he has been taken care of greatly, Sayako and Thane and the rest of the Celestials have done an awesome job and now we have two kitsu's who are also wishing to take on the care and responsibility of our son, we still have to discuss things but so far, I can't say no to them being the full time parents of Oliver, I would, admittedly, prefer Thane and Sayako to be his parents but they still need to get there butts into gear and get together. I don't know why it is taking Thane so long to actually properly ask her out, they have only been basically tip toeing around the matter for ages now, it is about time he made his move, you would think he would of taken a page out of..." a paw went over his mouth as a grinning Calliope looked at him.
"Stop right there, you know you never wanted to accept me at first, I wanted you and you THOUGHT you didn't want me as you would have to give up your lifestye of playing hero so I had to finally make you see that I was the girl for you by putting myself in danger just so you could save me and accept the whole 'hero falls for damsel in distress' bit, you said goodbye, left, promising you had no idea when you would be back IF you would be back as you were just passing through and so I had to go bribe a Nightmare into basically nearly killing me till you came and saved me. I had to make you see you were an idiot if you left since the hints about me wanting you in my life were not getting through to you so I had to go get a kind Nightmare to basically make it look like I was in danger AND about to be heading over a cliff over looking the ocean with big sharp pointy rocks at the bottom if I moved back just a couple more inches just so you could finally accept the fact you loved me."
Morpheus removed her paw and sighed "that was a stupid thing to do..."
"But the results came out in my favour" she said smirking a little.
Morpheus grinned at her, she was beautiful and she always could keep him on his toes, if there was one thing about this girl she had no fear, fear just wasn't in her vocabulary which was one of the reasons he loved her, of course he didn't know this till AFTER he had 'saved her life' but still, it did end up making him realise he couldn't leave her though, of course, now that Oliver was born...well, fear had entered her vocab a little but then that was understandable.
Calliope nuzzled Morpheus and continued what she was about to say before "so anyway, no, they can't take a page out of your book, what you did was stupid, they just need to be pushed together by us before we go, as soon as they get over whatever it is that is stopping them they can finally be together and enjoy each other far better then they have been, I want to know they are happy also, they deserve each other, they care about each other greatly and we can see there is love or something trying to happen but they are not doing anything to help it but maybe, after we basically tell them they should be together, say...it is our final wish? They may end up doing it.
Morpheus nodded and kissed his mates temple "and back onto Odessa and Gersif, Odessa looks far too much like you to not let her take care of our son, we can talk and all but look at how happy he has been since he thought Odessa was you! Sure Thane and Sayako would of been better BUT I think that since he never knew or saw me and only knew you it would be better" he said, hating it so much but kept that to himself, he didn't want to know some other guy was looking after his son.
"I know and that is what is tearing me a part a little" she said with a soft sigh "he is OUR son" she said as she looked at her mate with sad eyes "I...I guess I just always wished that it was us who was going to take care of him...or at least me after your passing, it pains me so..." she said as she burried her face into Morpheus' shoulder, obviously they still had talking to do.
"I know darling and this is why we will talk about it a little more, maybe after we get settled down somewhere comfy with Sayako and Thane, it is best they hear it also" he said as he rested his head on top of hers.
Electra smiled softly at them though tears had begin to form in her eyes, even in death it was always nice to see two mates still so much in love with each other after all this time, it was always a true honour to see this when it came to her (future) line of work even though it was sad also.
((Bah! Any itelic 'ghost speaking' parts that are not in italics can stay how they are and I am sorry, I can't be stuffed figuring out where I went wrong. XD; ))

Gersif nodded, it had grown dark and they way obscured in shadows but he remembered. He had always had the ability to get back to any place he had been to once. "This way" he started to take the lead walking past Odessa he caught the tears sparkling in Electra's eyes. "Electra?" her name a question, she could hear the souls, he could not... it must have been something they said. "Is there something wrong?" He had grown still a creeping cold washing over him a dread a fear of what was to come what was to be said.

Odessa looked around to her sister as she stopped by the lake, finally having reached home...well, this whole place was 'home' but still, it was closer to HER actual home "Ele, whats wrong?" She asked curiously, having head Gersif.
Electra took a deep breath and wiped her eyes as she pulled them away from the others "nothing, just...nothing...." she said as she smiled softly at the couple before looking back at Gersif and Odessa "just learnt some things about them thats all but it isn't my place to tell you so I will leave that up to them" she said as she jumped down from her sisters back.
"Alright, I guess ww can wait" she said as she looked at Gersif "cave of Thane...?" She said, thinking it would be easier to go there then hunt for Sayakos.
"Follow me" Morpheus said as he took off to the left, his mate following closely behind.
"This way" she said as she followed Morpheus.
Odessa looked at Gersif "shall we?" She said, gesturing towards him to go first.

Gersif nodded he understood that and wasn't going to press the issue. He smiled too, pleased that she was such a respectful young lady. "I think you and Oliver would made very good friends" he smiled at her before looking to Odessa "Don't you think? It would be nice for Oliver to have some friends his age to play with." He didn't know how old Oliver was or how long he had been stuck as a pup, but the sentiment was still the same that they would do well together.
Gersif nodded, Electra was headed in the right direction so he figured one of the ghost's were leading "After you." He smiled, trying to be gentlemanly safer for them, though it was her home area it should be safe he has grown a custom to being on guard at all times it would be a very difficult habit to break... not that he was complaining about the view or anything I mean she was a very attractive girl and he was a full blooded boy, what's to complain about?

"Please, don't mention friends" Odessa said to Gersift as they carried on following Electra and the ghosts, glad she hadn't heard "long story short, she doesn't hang around with any normal children kitsu's because they all think of her as a 'freak' considering she 'talks to herself' etc, she is used to it and doesn't mind, she likes playing with the little girl kitsu who hasn't passed over, she doesn't care if that is her only friend, she doesn't want to worry about anyone else. Not that Oliver will pick on her, he is too much of a sweetheart for that but she is just happy being by herself and doing her own thing, she has been bullied too much so she doesn't want to carry on worrying about that so she just sticks to herself, it is safer for her" she said as she watched Electra stop and smell some wild flowers as she passed "maybe one day but right now, it is best we just leave her without meeting him, her being an aunt will be scary enough for her when she learns this is all just a lie and she isn't exactly a fan of lies so please, don't mention anything yet" she said, if they ever did, Odessa knew she had to be told but it had to be the right time.
Electra looked up from the flowers she was smelling and back to her sister "come on!"
Odessa smiled at her sister "coming!" She called as she jogged to catch up.

Gersif frowned kids could be cruel and it was such a pity as Electra seemed to be such a wonderful child. She was the first to ever address him as 'Mr. Gersif' it felt odd but it seemed nice, respectful. He didn't think Oliver would be the kind to be so cruel but he had only known the boy for a day. He nodded understanding Electra's feelings on the subject it was something he was all too familiar with something he had lived most of his life, building up walls learning not to care not to put oneself out there only to be hurt. Easier.. painful.. but easier, not as scary. He couldn't blame her, but he did want to change that if he could. Have Oliver and her spend time together get to know one another, become friends. Oliver could help her and she him if only he could get her to open up one more time, trust just once more they could be best of friends.
But he heeded Odessa's words for now, she knew Electra better than he and Oliver just as well so for now he would allow her to take the lead, but if the opportunity presented himself he would take it. "We're old" he called back jokingly "Our old bones can't keep up!" he smiled not sure if she could see it in the dim light but was sure his tone would tell her well enough that he was kidding. He was relaxing into being a family man old habits of his grandfathers that he had never noticed and hardly remembers gaining new life through him. Don't let me lose this he prayed

"Speak for yourself!" Odessa said playfully, smiling back at him "but of course if you want to rest your sore and brittle bones then by all means, rest, we will come get you later" she said playfully as she had caught up to her sister and walked next to her sister and nuzzled her.
"Not long and we will be there" Morpheus said to Electra.
"Alright, thank you" Electra said as she nuzzled her sister back "and we are almost there" she said, wondering what this Thane Kitsu was like.
