I'm not the girl your mother warned you about... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [Jewelle opened her emerald orbs slowly, blinking slowly and finally opening her eyes fully. She stood up gracefully and stretched out her long, slim legs in front of her.]
Hm, that was a good nap... she thought lazily, leaping down from her bed of discarded cloth.
[She snuck around "her" little boutique and to the little cake shop she loved. That was hers too, since the twolegs always threw away little scraps of cake and she basically claimed
them for hers. Spying a good size piece of cake in a bin, she raised her tail happily and let out a purr. The creamy stuff on the top of the
slice was pink. That color always tasted better for some reason. She bent down and licked off the creamy stuff then daintily took bites of the white fluffy stuff underneath.] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ...her imagination was never this good.

Like to a double cherry, seeming parted,
But yet an union in partition,

[A new voice caught one of the brother's attention. Kojote grinned slightly, peeking over the edge of the roof with a kit-like innocence. He snickered slightly, backing up out of view. So, the noise had come from a kit? He laughed slightly. He liked kits. They were fun to mess with.]
"What a dummy. Who openly calls out to strangers like that?" [Rauch muttered from beside his brother. He sat down, folding his tail neatly around his paws. Kojote cocked his head to the side, still staring down at the kit.]
"Who mothered her?" [he muttered, nodding his head in agreement.
Rauch leaned against Kojote, tipping his head to the other side. He smiled slightly, his ears twitching.] "Should we play?"
"Exactly what I had in mind," [Kojote purred dangerously. The two brothers turned around, bowing mockingly to Ferry.] "We've had fun, but for now, we must bid you farewell, my friend!" [Rauch purred before the two leapt down from the top of the roof.
Rauch was the first to land, almost as clusily as a dog on ice. Kojote followed soon after, landing seemingly more graceful. Kojote and Rauch grinned slightly, sitting down in front of Jubilee. The two let a pause hang in the air for a few heartbeats before Kojote spoke.] "Greetings, my dame," [Kojote purred in a somewhat authoritive voice.
Rauch carried an equal expression to his brother for a moment before he smiled sweetly.] "Yes yes, greetings, friend," [he purred in a silky voice.
Kojote stood up, circling around Jubilee slowly. He nodded almost thoughtfully as he spoke. "What brings you to strangers like us, little one?" [he asked, still circling. He let a pause hang in the air, allowing her to speak at any time.]

----------------------------- [ Jubilee waited silently for a reply. Her tail flicked back in forth in excitement. Was she going to meet a new friend? ]
I hope the cat is nice, I could really use a friend!
[ Jubilee watched in excitement as two cats seemed to appear in front of her. The came from the roof! She felt as if they plopped from the sky, just to be her friend. As they circled her, she let out a sneeze, that made her jump. Then they greeted her. She flicked her tail in joy. They had a pause for her to speak, and she talked after the first second of the silence. ]
" Hi to you too! My name's Jubilee!
Why I came here? It's because I was walking by, and I smelled you guys.. And I wanted to talk to someone, and meet someone. And - Uh wait. You can talk now. I seem to talk a lot. Yes. But anyways, you can talk now. "
[ Jubilee was too excited to stop talking, but she needed to hear their voice too. She hoped she could make a friend. Or Two. ]

I thought you wanted me here? I'll stay with you, don't worry." He mowed annoyingly. Raven just wanted to bother this she-cat. "Ha! I'll stay here all day.." He thought deviously. That would surely annoy Burn.❝I D O N ' T do C U T E!❞

[A smile slightly tugged at the corners of both brothers mouths as the newcomer spoke. They turned to each other, a meaningful glance flickering across their identical faces. They were most definitely thinking the same thing. This kit, she was much too innocent. They both grinned, and Rauch spoke first.] "Yes yes, I'm Kojote and this-" [Kojote's tail flicked his brother's ear, and he stopped talking. Kojote cleared his throat.] "Pay no attention to my brother here. I'm Kojote, and this is my brother Rauch. Pleased to make your aquaintance," [he purred.
Rauch stared in shock at Kojote for a moment. He thought for several heartbeats.This had been the first time where they had correctly introduced themselves to another cat. But why now? He shrugged. It wasn't worth paying too much attention to. It wasn't like anyone could really tell the two apart.
Kojote purred, smiling softly at Jubilee. He studied the she-cat for a moment, taking note of her mostly clean, fluffy fur. He nodded slightly.] "Do you live with humans, Jubilee?" [he asked curiously, still smiling. His thoughts quickly flickered back to the conversation he had just had with Colby Jack on humans. He snorted. Awful beasts, they were. They generally treated kits a little better though.]

_________________________________________________________________   Flint followed Alphonse's approach with his eyes. He shifted his paws in anticipation. He glanced around at the cats nearby. He wondered if Thorn and Jinx were among them. "I took the night to think about what I would say to you Alphonse." he said, "For a while I was determined to accept your invitation. But I am afraid I cannot. You see, I believe I can band together a group of cats much more powerful than yours will ever be." He spoke clearly and precisely. He knew there was a good chance Alphonse would attack and unsheathed his claws in preparation. He stood, tail lashing from side to side. "Now I insist we part ways before there is any unnecessary bloodshed." He was tempted to growl like a mangy dog, he wanted the cat to take him seriously.

----------------------------- [ Jubilee nodded, as the two spoke. She noticed that Rauch introduced himself as Kojote, She got confused for a second. But she nodded, as she soon noticed that Kojote was telling the truth. Everyone makes mistakes! ]
" It's good to meet you too! "
Kojote asked if she lived with humans. She spoke right after that sentence. ]
" Yes, yes I do! But I used to not, I lived near a river. But, Uh, there was some difficulties, and I had to come here.
Sometimes I feel like I don't live with my human, because she lets me put all day.
But my human is nice. But I noticed some are rough. I saw one step on someone's tail! "
[ Jubilee paused to take a deep breath. She was rambling. ]
" Sorry. I ramble a lot. But anyways, Where do you live? On the streets? Or do you have a special nest?
I don't really meet much cats. That's why I called out for everyone! "

"Burn darling," Amende purred as she walked along the fence towards the two "You're back and still in one piece. Oh and look, the tom's here too" Amende meowed when she spotted Raven "Usually they run away from their attackers" ☽☾ ☽☾ ☽☾ ☽☾

[Kojote's whiskers twitched slightly, still smiling as Jubilee explained her situation. Her innocence was somewhat refreshing. He nodded slightly, murmuring in thought to himself for a moment.] "Yes yes yes, it's good to hear that your human's treating you right-"
"But, your idea about randomly calling out to cats isn't very smart. You see-"
"There are a lot of unfriendly cats around here. So don't be naively bouncing around and-"
"Accidentally call out a bad cat or something. They'll try to eat you. Or something. We would know. We have to put up with their yowling at night when we're trying to sleep in our makeshift dens."
Kojote nodded once, a wise look crossing his face.] "Yeah, the last thing we need is for you to get yourself killed." [He finished, nodding twice. He positioned himself to where he was sitting next to the kit, wrapping his tail around. He smiled softly, clucking his tongue twice.] "Although we just met, I feel it will be a good idea if I protected you, so stick close, dear," [he purred, resting his muzzle on Jubilee's head. He sighed, smiling.
Rauch nodded in agreement, sitting on the other side of Jubilee.] "Yes, we will protect you from the evil clutches of the other fiends around here, so don't fret," [he meowed in agreement, nodding with feigned sympathy. In reality, they were both grinning on the inside, laughing hysterically. It was simply adorable how innocent she was. Kojote looked at Rauch, who was giving him the same smile. Kojote leaned over Jubille, whispering so no other ears but Rauch's could hear.] "Ya know," [he murmured almost inaudibly.] "She's kinda cute. If she's this cute, her mother's got to be pretty hot," [he mentioned.
Rauch nodded, grinning almost deviously. He whispered back.] "I was thinking the same thing. Like, the 'Jewelle' type of hot," [he agreed.
Kojote scowled. "Honestly, I have no idea what you saw in a cat like that. She was annoying," he growled gruffly. Rauch didn't bother to argue.
They both nodded twice, and Kojote sat in front of the kit once more. He smiled the same, superficial, sweet smile he had on before.] "Hey kid, you got a mom?" [he asked curiously.]

----------------------------- [ Jubilee nodded as they told her about the bad cats around the city. She nodded, and her paws were prickling with excitement.
She was talking to some cats! Kojote asked if she would stick close. She responded quickly again. ]
Okay, and I can teach you my stealth! Since I'm small, I can fit into small places!
[ While they were whispering, she didn't mind. She started playing with her tail and twitching her whiskers.
She was done before they turned back to her. They wanted to know about her mom. Her heart sunk, and she could feel the pain the same day she lost her. That day she had felt lonesome. She couldn't hold her head up, like the day she lost her mother on the grass. The only thing she could remember was her mother's beautiful, sweet face. Jubilee spoke a little quieter, but any cat could tell the tone of sadness in her voice. ]
" No.. I lost her on my journey to the city..
[ She looked up at Raunch and Kojote, the hurt in her eyes was building up. ]
" She was a beautiful and a full-hearted cat.
But she died. But I don't have anyone else. My family went crazy.. So we left them. "

[Kojote stared in shock at Jubilee. The pain in her eyes was evident Kojote looked up in alarm. Was she going to cry?! A melancholy feeling hung suspended in the air around the she-cat, causing both the brothers to shudder slightly. Kojote's golden eyes flickered to Rauch's, and a somewhat shocked look crossed both of their faces. A sigh hissed through Rauch's teeth, making a weird whistling nose for a moment. A mournful pause hung in the air.
Rauch was the first to break the almost suffocating silence.] "We never knew our mother," [he murmured hollowly, his eyes quietly trained on a crack in the sidewalk underpaw.
Kojote nodded slightly in agreement, closing his eyes for a moment.] "She ran away after we were born, but then we were found by humans and taken to a place with other abandoned cats and dogs," [he said, nodding thoughtfully. He had to think hard for a moment. His memories of the past that was left behind in Dresden [yes, THAT Dresden] had always been fuzzy to him. He blinked thoughtfully, still trying to recall other things.]
"Hey Kojote, we didn't live here at first, did we." [Rauch voiced these words as a statement rather than a question.
Kojote's golden eyes brightened eagerly.] "Right you are, yes!" [he meowed. He looked down at Jubilee once more, smiling softly.] Ya see, we lived somewhere very far away. It was so far away-"
"That we had to travel with humans on a man-made leaf thing across the wide blue waters! It took at least thirty-five sunrises to get here! We kinda lost count, but it was definitely a little over thirty-five!" [Rauch finished excitedly.
The two brothers smiled happily, quietly recalling those wonderful times.] "When the humans were all busy with things, me and Rauch would sneak fish out of these webbed net-things and feast on them secretly!" [Kojote meowed.
Rauch nodded in agreement.] "Yeah, but we would get motion-sickness a lot since the leaf rocked around a lot," [he admitted.
Kojote snorted, batting a paw at his brother's ear.] "Funny funny, you were the one that got sick all of the time. I never got sick!" [he argued, nodding to himself as if he was agreeing.
Rauch glared angrily.] "Did no-"
[Kojote intervened, his tail resting on Rauch's muzzle. He stared at his paws for a moment, shock making his fur prickle a bit. This was weird. They were giving a random cat almost half their age their entire life story! He laughed almost nervously. He honestly didn't know what to think. He eyed the she-cat warily for a moment. She probably had mind-manipulation powers to make cats spill their guts to her at her will. How strange. Kojote smiled once more for show, and nodded.] "Er, so Jubilee, you can fit into small places, huh?" [he asked hollowly, both of the brothers wincing slightly in unison at the clumsy change in topics.]

----------------------------- [ Jubilee started to lose the ache in her heart as the silence stopped. She felt ease as she listened to them. She wanted to tell them more, But Jubilee could barely remember the hut she lived in.
As they told her about the waters, Jubilee's hazel eyes turned somewhat green. She was interested and delighted to hear their story.]
" A leaf thing!? That's so cool!"
[ Jubilee listened. Thirty-Five sunrises? ]
That must've been really long!
[ Although it took long, it seemed like it must've been fun. Jubilee loved new places. She nodded in eagerness. Soon enough, Jubilee let put a sneeze, and hopped at least two feet in the air.
Now they asked her about small places, which got her to stand up very straight, as she was a story teller. ]
" Yes! I can fit into cracks of windows, and holes in buildings. Today, in that big human nest, ( the hotel she lives in ) I fit into my owner's circle thing, ( she's talking about a mug. ) but I fell down and broke It..

[The corners of Alphonse's lips curled up into a sinister smile as he listened to Flint;s words. Band together a group of cats much more powerful than his...brave words, but certainly stupid. Flint had just issued a challenge against him...and Dogslayer Al never loses. In fact, it can't even be called a competition at all...rather, it should be called "entertainment" in his opinion.]
"Belief is a dangerous thing my friend, it has led many to false hopes and deaths. Certainly you're not thinking that you can compete with me?"
[False hopes and false expectations. Flint may believe he can band a group of cats stronger than his, but Al knew that he would be the victor in the end. He was Dogslayer Al, and Dogslayer Al never loses. Al's smile never left his face as he padded closer to Flint, stopping when he was almost standing nose to nose with the large ashen tom.]
"You see. you and I are different. You are strong and brave, a fearless fighter as I can see from the scars on your body. The same can be said for me in a way."
[At this point, Al raised one paw with his claws unsheathed, and gently tapped Flint on his forehead with one claw.]
"The thing that;s inferior in your, however, is here. The word "powerful" doesn't solely mean brawns, just so you know my dumb friend."
[Al lifted his claw off Flint's head, giving it a lick. He knew he had probably pissed Flint off, and it won't be a surprise if Flint decides to attack. If he does however, Al would be ready for him.]
"You were the first cat I asked, because I thought you were not the same as the other street cats, with a tad bit more brains and a lot more brawn. It really disappoints me to see that I was wrong about you...it really does. Now...I believe I told you before that anyone who gets in my way will be killed, in much more gruesome ways than you can imagine?"
[The sinister smile never left his face as he spoke, but a dangerous - almost maddened gleam lit up in his eyes. Al was a cat who had killed countless others, and those who stood in his way...had all died yowling in agony, bathed in a pool of their own blood and their bodies left in grotesque distortions of their original forms.] ███████████████ ███████████████ ██████████ ██████████ █████ █████ Layout Ⓒ iZann

_________________________________________________________________ [Flint kept his eyes narrowed and his muscles tensed. There was no telling what this sad excuse for a street cat would do. It seemed to Flint that 'Dogslayer Al' thrived on the rumors that has spread like wild fire. The grey tom was sure he was strong, and smart, but he was no different than any other cat. He had just happened to get lucky in his battles.]
"Take your claw off of me if you value it." he hissed. His hackles rose and he crouched lower to the ground.
[Flint wanted to fight fire with fire. Words with words. He knew he could throw out a few come backs but he would never keep up with Alphonse. There was only one way he could get his point across, it had been the only way he had ever made a point. With the sharpest things he owned, his claws and teeth.]
"I think you hide behind that stupid name." he said, suddenly looking too relaxed. He stood full height, allowing his fur to settle. He slowly and purposefully padded around Alphonse.
"Oh, Dogslayer Al! Please don't kill me!" he said, imitating the tone of a young she-cat. "You're too smart and strong for me!"
[Flint faked submission to finish his small insult before crouching. One heart beat, and he locked his eyes on Alphone's back. Two heart beats, he felt his hind legs tense and his skin ripple with anticipation. Three heart beats and Flint was in the air, aimed for Alphonse's back.]

[While Flint's fur was bristling with anticipation, Al's fur was still sleek and smooth, showing no sign of aggression. A few hearbeats of silence lasted between them...but as if both their minds were working in the same way, Al was gazing at Flint's belly while he was glancing at his own back. When Flint leapt into the air, aiming for Al's back, Al leapt at the same time, aiming for the tom's belly. The two large and muscular toms collided with each other in mid-air, both their fangs and claws flashing and ready to rip into each other. This was not like any petty street cat fighting, this was two top level tough and skilled toms fighting over who was the superior.
Al's claws seemed to gleam under the sunlight as he aimed for Flint's chest, aiming to dig his claws into his chest and hopefully throw him towards the hard concrete ground, pinning him down. His sinister smile seemed scarier than ever, and from the way he looked it was as though he was already planning a few moves ahead.] ███████████████ ███████████████ ██████████ ██████████ █████ █████ Layout Ⓒ iZann
