As the vile demon came forward, it drew to swords and target his strike at Roga who seemed paralyzed, unable or unwilling to move. Noctu held his blade in expert form, striking swiftly and decisively against the absent defense of his opponent with hesitation. The blades swiped cleanly through the flesh of the animated corpse which was Roga the wanderer, severing off an arm. Noctu's aim was to first disassemble the possessed body, trapping his prey into an immobile object, then dragging his withered soul back to Underworld. As he hacked past the wanderer, the great demon took notice in the other two. Surely, these two had nothing to do with this, but the demon had no pity for them. As far as he was concerned, they were accomplices to Roga and shall be dealt with accordingly. " I dont think you're in a position of control" the demon said, pointing the ends of his blade toward Suika and Reven, " You are all coming as gifts to the lord of the Underworld."

Roga collapsed as he was brought down the fast moving adversary, unable to react quick enough. The demon had stalled for some reason, he demon aura suddenly suppressed by Noctu's power. Defenseless, the demon wanderer struck with multiple damaging blows which removed his left arm at the middle of the bicep and slashed through his left side of his abdomen. Roga observed the demons threats to the others as he laid in the dirt, pathetically laying in defeat. He seemed too powerless and weak to protect himself or anyone else. The golden eyed demon could not accept this, not an end so humiliating like this. With a resurgence of energy, he stood back on his feet, seeking to persevere through the pain and the overwhelming power of Noctu. Sword drawn, Roga prepared to enter battle.

With a loud shriek of shouting crows, the demon Noctu raged out from the ground behind Suika as a dark shadow, his claw slashing into her back as he arose. "Unimpressive, oni girl," he spoke, grinning afterward. The body in the crater also recovered after the crushing blow, rising as if the attack did not seemed to harm it yet the eyes no longer glowing . " You see, that body is a puppet, just another corpse. My true form is this shapeless darkness which surrounds you." Noctu explained. The darkness then quickly shrunk and returned into the body. The great demon was able to readily separate his demonic spirit from the possessed body at will, unlike Roga, who needed to be bonded ritualistically. Hopping out of the crater, It raised both swords in hand, preparing to attack again.

Roga, rushing with his sword held tightly in his one-handed grip, charged at Noctu defiantly. He was clearly out powered, out skilled, and outmatched to face this demon in combat. Once, the wanderer had power formidable enough, but that was long ago. Roga had consistently avoided in engaging in demonic activities that would increase his power over the centuries he had spent in the living world. This led him to weaken gradually over time and with all his being knew his strength would not last much longer. As Roga's blade clashed with the crossed blades of Noctu's, he felt something he did not expect. There was a dramatic drop in the demonic aura. Noctu had exhausted himself; momentarily at very least.

Watching the battle between Suika and this shadow monster dude was interesting to Reven. She couldn't melt into darkness or activate "Missing Purple Power". She could, however, extend and leave. Sharp dagger-like teeth protruded from her mouth, growing past her chin. Long nails grew longer and sharper. That was extending. Now it was time to leave. Her eyes stayed open and gained a shine to them. Right now, Other-Reven was floating above her body and watching it. If it died, of course she would die. But now it was it's turn to fight without the interference of a person's mind. "Fun time, fun fight, let some blood run black to-night." And with that, the now Monster-Reven, attacked. Red marks now spreading from her hand to all over her body.

The battle seemed to be shifting to the side of the wandering hunters as Noctu faced multiple threats from the demon wanderer, the oni and the once unengaged third member of the party. The set seemed exceptionally disadvantageous for him as the ganged up to destroy thus, the demon needed to change the gameplan. " This is not as easy as I thought. I'll need to use all my skillls," Noctu acknowledged as he shrugged off Roga's attack and tried to avoid the other girl's advance. He groaned in angered tone, accessing a greater portion of his demon power to brace for the incoming strikes from both Suika and Reven. Yet as he stood there, Noctu recognized the girl momentary pause in her attack, surely due to the proximity of her partners were to the strike zone. With that extra time, he decided to launch an attack.

Roga was knocked back once his adversary had thrown off his attack. He did not instantly notice Suika's transformation as he was far too focused on Noctu. Stepping to prepare for another slash, he notice a mist drift over across the area finally. Looking toward the oni girl, the demon realized she had transformed and that he was in the path of her step. In an effort to escape, Roga backpedaled away to avoid her, seeing that she had hesitated to prevent from crushing him also.

Monster-Reven jumped back. Suika had returned to her ordinary size. While Other-Reven watched from above, she was shaking her head. "Stupid me. I never think, do I?" She started to melt back into her body in order to make it actually think a little. But of course, without the wildness she wasn't as strong.

Suika saw that Reven was in trouble as she slammed her fist to the ground creating a dome of solid earth around her blocking the deer attack and creating jagged rocks to impale the deer stopping the attack, unfortunately this left Suika vulnerable as she felt the sharp pain of Noctu's blade go threw chest.
"...Damn...I'm not finished yet" Suika stated as she wound up a punch
"Oni Strike: Earth Shattering Fist" She announced giving on last attack as the purple mist formed around her hand quickly she struck Noctu with a very powerful punch unleashing alot of energy into it
"...Heh hopefully everyone will be safe now" Suika stated she sat on the ground and took a large drink from her gourd,

Reven turned at the sound of the bucks, and prepared to defend herself, but Suika had created a dome of earth around her, and from the sound of it had killed the deer. However, she had done it a second late. One of the horns had gone through her upper left arm. It didn't matter though. The dome surrounded her completely so she couldn't get out and no-one could get in. "So he's the reason the meat is dead but still moving. He can control stuff, living or dead. So why doesn't he control us now?" Sitting down, Reven thought of this for a moment as the fight went on outside without her. Then it hit her. He said he must return to the underworld, so mabye it's insanely boring down there and he wants to make the fun last. I know I would.
