He chuckled and turned,beginning to walk away briskly.

He waved goodbye and hopped the fence.

Armelia sighed. "I guess this means I'm staying." Armelia got up and exited the maze. She had to tell Mariana she was staying.

A day later,Caesar wandered into the city library. He pulled a book from a shelf and slumped into a seat in the backroom after negotiating with Wyatt; the mage would be able to search the thief's pockets before leaving is what they agreed on.

Armelia walked into the library and headed towards the back room. Wyatt agreed to let her read the books there since she had read all the other books.

Caesar looked up and smiled at Armelia as she entered.

He shut his book and sat up.

He raised an eyebrow at her questioningly.

Armelia leaned over him to see what he was reading. "I'm alright. Mariana was happy to know that I was staying. Elizabeth may kill you, though."

The man handed her the book; it was a journal written by one of Ethon's founders. He smiled at her.
"I've finished this. Elizabeth eh? SHe can try."

Armelia took the book but frowned. "Elizabeth is not someone to mess with. If you ever get to meet her, please be respectful. If not for you than for me. She won't care that you're important to me. If you cross her, you die."

The man laughed loudly and sat up,pulling another book from the shelf.
"I'll keep that in mind. I've probably met worse though~"
He opened the book and flipped through it.

Armelia smiled. "Imagine Xenia grown up with no emotion and who's passion is torturing and killing. " She kissed his cheek and then went to the back room to get more books.
