After a bit, Bez comes into the chamber, He looks at Passssura and suppresses a shudder before going to whisper something in Tam's ear. Then he nods to Kerobian and leaves as quickly as he can.

Tam shakes his head in sad amusement. "We will have to find someplace for your little foundling to stay other than here, I'm afraid... or Bez will be sleeping in the trees. He came to say that he has scudded all the canoes and has fed all the bodies to the fishes. What should we do with their gear?"

"A second cave would be nice... would give him some privacy as well, especially if you can shield it a bit for him. I suspect his own shields though strong are rather erratic at the moment.

"As for the other... is it wise to abandon or destroy that which may be useful. I was of a mind to offer it to those who came here from that wreck... sans the weapons of course. But surely they could use the shelters... clothing... and mayhaps food which might hae been left behind."

Tam makes a face but nods anyway. "Give me an hour first though. I just got Mara down. Besides you could use the rest... I can see it in your eyes." She flashes him a stern look. "Don't argue with me Kerobian... I sometimes think I know you better than you know yourself... I wonder why that is..." wink

He's asleep for the better part of an hour when suddenly a soft hissing sound invades his dreams. Irritated at first, then nervous, it grows in volume until it fills his thoughts. Then without warning he sees it, as though through a crack in a curtain, Men bludgeoning his people, regardless of age or sex, some are skewered on spikes. He wants to run away, but his mother has shoved him into this tiny chamber and made several large pieces of furniture tumble before it's entrance. The outer room looks in shambles, but it was not a raider who did this. And now his mother stands just inside the door, perched to run outside, to draw the intruders away.

Hide she said and so he hides, buried beneath a pile of clothing. Her mind scream when it comes, is almost enough to drive him over the edge..... where is his father.... where are the men... why does no one come to help them......

The vision goes on... the smell of fire and roasted flesh... must not look... must not see... there are no animals in the village proper to provide such a meal... stomach clenching... head pounding... he has to et away...

But the music can't get through the horror. Suddenly as Kero plays he hear a drum, as steady rhythm, like a heart beat, bolstering his music and slowly the child relaxes into true sleep once more.

"Your pipe isn't going to reach him very well says Tam sadly. In his hand is a bodhran, which he places to one side which giving his little girls a cautious look. Fortuantely the nigihtmare has not awakened them... yet. Arigeeis is beginning to stir. Tam sighs. "I'll watch over him, you better go dig that cave after all."

When he returns, after digging out a reasonable sized cave that extends back far enough to prevent the elements from reaching it's far end, he finds Tam huddled with the three young ones inside of a bubble, maintained by Bez. The dark haired angel is sitting as far from the four as he can get and still maintain his shelter. He sees Kerobian and lets it drop with a welcomed sigh

"Get him out of here, ok? I... I've got to rest..." he begs in a gruff voice.
