"Oh, well sorry about that," he said thinking of multiple options of what he could do to make her feel happier. He decided on getting her some ice cream since most people like free ice cream. He told her he would be right back and he got some from a nearby shop. "Here," he said, feeling kind of stupid about getting it, but hoping that he didnt look stupid.

"Well not if you eat it fast, its supposed to be eaten slow because its frozen", he said half smiling. He sat down on the ledge and looked out toward the sun, it was getting late now, the battle had lasted a while, nobody won but still it took forever.
