( mrgreen ヴァンパイアスレイヤー is the katakana writing for it's english meaning. vanpaia suraiyaa. R's are pronouned as Ls. So, Vanpaia sulaiyaa is the Japanese pronounciation. Any word the Japanese take from English (because they don't have a word for it) is writen in Katakana. Katakana has more sounds than Hiragana.)

To Kirie, it felt like someone had suckerpunched her in the stomach. She probably tore something. But she refused to go back to the hospital.
