I love Hey Baby. One time when we were at UMASS Band Day (best day of the entire marching season!) and everyone was tired by this point cuz we had to be at the school by 4 am and we had been practicing all day so we were ready to go to sleep... anyway our band directer was like c'mon! We're not gonna win if you guys can't be louder than the other bands! Then we suddenly hear the UMASS' chosen band on the other side of the stadium start to play Hey Baby. Everyone just stares.... then you hear one of our pic. players (Eric) burst out in song and slowly get closer and closer to my friend Lisa. It was soooo funny cuz they've been best friends for like... ever and he likes to pick on her in the "marrage" area even though he dosn't like her.... guess you would have had to have been there... my other favorite is crunch time.

I love "The Hey Song", "Vader's Theme/Imperial March", "Gladiator", and "Louie, Louie." Since we had a band director change, we don't play "Imperial March" or "Gladiator" anymore. I'm not a big fan of the new stuff that we play.
As for basketball games, "The Kids Aren't Alright", "Mortal Kombat", and "7 Nation Army" rocked my world. But we don't play those anymore either...

Lepidus Light Hey! Baby!, Party Train, and Prime Time hands down. Those are the most fun, active songs you can possibly play (okay, not really) for pep band. ^^ They're all just so fun to play and listen to!
The Hey Song is this one kind of fun song that is mainly composed of clapping and people yelling "Hey" and "Huh". 3nodding THE HEY SONG! WOOT i love that song, i really get into it. and my sharona. playing trombone is fun for that. in the beginning 1st and 2nd trombones play on each other's offbeats. and then at the end my friend yells "OH NO ITS MY SHARONA!" because when he did jaws the first time he said "OH NO ITS THE SHARK!" and then we did darth vader's theme music... and he goes(of course) "OH NO ITS DARTH VADER!" and he just started the my sharona line
