Hi! I'm new to this guild, but not new to Gaia. I'm happy I found this guild as one of the main reason I joined gaia was for the kiki and coco plushies I saw on a couple peoples avatars.

Anyway, I'm 25 and live in Minnesota. I have six cats (although it used to be eight) and love (almost) every minute of it!

Well, now to tell you about my six feline friends. I could go on about all the cats I've owned, but I think I'll just stick to the ones I have right now.

Tony (Gray Tabby) - My favorite, nuf' said. Long story leading to this, but when I moved into my house I planned to take two cats with me. That didn't work out, so we went to petsmart and adopted a pair. As I walked to the different cat cages (I was actually very distressed at this point in time due to earlier events) and saying the different names of the cats, Tony was the one who perked his little head up and mewed at me. I said his name again and he responded. I was won over right then and there. More proof that animals do pick their people. Maybe some other time I will go into all his personality traits that make me love him.

Yuffie (Calico) - Yuffie was the other cat in the pair we picked up that day. She was "bought" because she was the oldest cat sitting there. At around six years old, she was getting to the "unadoptable" phase. She is a beautiful calico with a loving personality. Sadly she is extremely skiddish, and really is not a fan of other cat (except Tony) or people. Well, that's not entirely true. She like people when they are sleeping or not moving. Yuffie got her name from Final Fantasy VII, and because the name she came with was Fifi. We had to name her something similar because she was already so old.

Tango (Big white/cream fluff thing) - Tango was a "I can't have this cat anymore" kind of cat. He is a giant sweetheart and a great snuggler. He does have a top cat sort of attitude once in a while, but overall he is a wonderful cat to have in my home.

Aria (Black cat) - Aria came to us through our neighbors window. Literaly. When she and her brother (Loki, whom I gave to a friend to take care of) were kittens, our neighbors kids (these neighbors are gone now, btw) threw them out the second story window. They were left outside all day with no water. (A 90 degree, sunny, summer day) and no one to check on them. They were brought into out house later that night and have been with us ever since. Aria herself is forever a kitten. If you looked at her and how she acts, you would assume she was just under a year old. At this point she's around three. I guess Nermal does exist!

Phoenix (Brown Tabby) - One of Aria's children. He has a very friendly and talkative sort of attitude, but can be a little psycho sometimes. He was the runt of the litter. We used to call him Runty, but that annoyed some people so we changed his name to Phoenix. He is defiantly "my" cat.

Chompy (Brown Tabby) - Phoenix's brother. Named Chompy after the chain chomps in the Mario series of games, and because the first thing he did after he was able to move was chomp on his brothers' ears. A little quieter then Phoenix and a little less affectionate, but in no was less lovey.

So yeah. Those are my six babies. I'm sorry if this was a little long, but here's proof of why I joined this guild, right? wink

Oooh, hello!
Well, so far I've been through five cats.
1st was an orange and white one that was a big meanie. I was too young to remember the name, but he was not a sociable cat and hated us when we petted it. Thank heavens he ran away about a week later. ^.^

Next is Beebs, who is still our kitty. Shes black and white(tuxedo cat?) and awesome. She's not to mean, and not to nice. Shes well behaved except for small moments. Shes about four to five years old and is currently balding for reasons unknown. o.O She's been hit by a car(we think) and survived. Because we couldn't afford to take the cast of at the time, something happened so now she permanently walks with a hunch if thats what you would call it. She's lazy and awesome. Not too fat, but not skinny. She likes being petted, and isn't fond of other animals. Too bad we got a dog a month ago.

Ugh.

So next is Crescent and Dilbert. We got the two from a farm as kittens. Crescent(my first real pet aside from a fish. Beebs was originally my older brother's.) was very skittish at first and didn't like to be held at all. She was a total wimp, and I was immediately attached to her. ^.^ She's a calico and had a crescent on her hind leg. Eventually she got attached to me and when she got scared, her paws would get VERY hot. x3 Gawd I miss her. Dilbert was her brother who was long haired and striped. He was hyper and obedient. He was loyal and would come to you when you said Dilbert, or Bacon. xD Unfortunately he ran away(more like followed some random stranger. He tended to follow people. He was WAY to friendly to everyone. xD) We had to give away Crescent because my brother got an asthma attack from three cats in the house. sad

Alas, While Beebs is still with us to this point, and my baby was given away, we took another kitten off of my Godmother's hands. He was Our communist kitten; Fidel(Castro). He was super lazy, then super hyper. AWESOMENESS in a furry body! He was sooooo cool. He would lay on any full grown woman's rack when they were lying down and he would sleep. xD SUCH a ladies man. Too bad for me I dont have a rack.... >.>;; Of course he had a different place he liked when I read books. xD He looked black, but in the hard light, you could see stripes.



At night he would attack ANYTHING that moved. Not kidding. @A@ But we kept him for about two or three months until my brother's breathing began to react again, so Fidel left us. And now we STILL have Beebs. x3 Luv her soo much. Heres a picture:



And yes, that would be my bookbag she's sleeping on. o.O I couldn't do my homework cause it was in there. xD

Hi! My name is Anneko, and my special little guy is Mohinder.

Mohinder (Momo for short) is a lynx-point birman-- well, at least his baby daddy is. His mama is grey and white, but Mo looks just like the breed standard for the l-p b. He's very affectionate (though he can be nervous around strangers sometimes), a little bit chatty, and loves kisses. He also loves his stuffed elephant (or hates him, it's hard to tell...). He has a very loud purr.

Mohinder just had his first birthday on the fifteenth. We had tuna fish to celebrate.

I got Mohinder several months after my sweet baby Montgomery Xander died. He wasn't quite five years old, but he got hit with renal failure. Montgomery had been a rescue cat, though, so he had a longer life then he would have if my mom hadn't found him.

I also live with Lego, my brother's cat and Mohinders brothercousin. Lego is black. He likes to go outside (Mohinder never goes outside), and thinks the yard is his own personal jungle. He thinks he's a wild panther, but when nobody is looking, he'll be a cuddlebug. Lego likes to watch blue screens/words scrolling on the TV. He loves to watch water go down the drain. If you get out of the shower, he comes and meows at you until you pour a glass of water out for him. If you ask 'Lego, want a glass of water?', he'll trot over to the shower and chirp. Lego makes a variety of funny sounds.

In addition to our two cats, I tend to name all the neighbourhood cats-- even if they have families, if I don't know their real names, I make a name up. We have Friendly Cat, A.C (Amiable Cat, who looks like a miniature version of Friendly, but is just slightly less... well, friendly), Squirrel (real name given by owners), Calico Girl, Mr. Orange, and The Professor. I also named my friends' rescue cat Tucker. A little farther out, there are neighbourhood cats named Winky, Inky, Blinky, and Clyde.

I also have a huge collection of stuffed cats, things with pictures of cats, and a small maneki neko collection. Not to mention books about cats, cat art, and of course cat-ear headbands and cat-ear hairclips, a cat mask, and a collar (but I want one with a giant bell on it!), so I can be a catgirl. I'm pretty well obsessed, and have been all my life.

The first one is an orange tabby named shmoo, I'm not sure how old she is, but shes super cuddly.
& The new one is a breed I'm not sure of, her name is toothbrush. She is super hyper xD

Hi, my name is Presca and I own two lovely cats - Leo and Keeley. Leo is a 7 year old male shorthair orange tabby and Keeley, his lady, also 7 is a black and white longhair domestic. I just love them to death smile

I adopted them just before the holidays last year when my dear and very loved 17 year old cat Theresa died, she was meant so much to me that I was devastated, so I knew that I needed some wonderful cats to fill the void - I also lost their sisters - Sarah and Angela a few years ago. I also have had other cats as we lived near a farm and my main cat Kitty had two litters (this was before I could get her spayed, I should have known better - sorry to say).

Anyhow, right around Christmas there was a couple with a child and one more on the way, the wife said that the cats they had were proving too much to care for even though they loved them. So we decided to adopt them, me and my mother as we share a two bedroom apartment. We both fell in love with Leo and Keeley. Leo is such a flirt, he loves women of all shapes and sizes and will always bow his head for you to kiss. Keeley is a bit quirkier but such a doll, you have to watch her though - she has a penchant for eating toilet paper, kleenex and plastic bags. I kid you not, but she's so cuddly.

my name is megan i am 15 i have always had cats as long as i can rember my first cat was a white simese names buddy he was quiet but he loved to be pet he died a few years ago then i got my tortise shell cat pearl she resently had a stroke that left ther half blind and unable to care for herself then we got bobby hes my aunt's baby he was 4 weeks old when we got him and we raised him he is now a big strong grey tabby then there is sissy and george they are brother and sister george is a ginge cat he is my baby he is so sweet then theres sissy she is a calico she is a lone cat she dosent like to be around people then theres george and siss's kitten benny she is beak and slow but shes the baby girl

I have 6 cats.
Tiger,Pepper,Cloud,Milkshakes,Pancakes,and Mittens.
-Tiger is our oldest kitty at six years =)
-Pepper is 5 years old.and is named Pepper because his noes is half black,and white.
-Cloud is the youngest male cat we have now,he is all black.I named him Cloud because he's got that all black look just like FFVII's Cloud Strife.
-Milkshakes is named Milkshakes because ,she has lil milk marking above her upper lip.hence the name Milkshakes.She is the sweetest lil kitty EVER!
-Pancakes,is named pancakes well I don't know why lol,my sis just liked the name.
-mittens is named mittens because her paws have all what on them ,just like gloves!

phew there are all my babies! I hope I can make some really great friends here ^^
