Out of curiosity Rain- I think the cat's out of the bag on the final round being Iajutsu, and that each new round is a surprise until everyone's experience has been laid out, but I was curious. Do should we/our characters know how many more rounds there are remaining, or do we just know that sooner or later someone'll announce that it's iajutsu time?

Ah, no, you're correct. I went back and looked it up. You will start with existing wounds equal to the amount you started last round with, but you won't have any additional starting wounds from your injuries in last round. So however you started out the second fight, that's how you're starting out this one.
