Leoco held it like a baby and purred "aww it's so cute" she said cradling it for a few seconds. Her eyes where very light.
Black-fire scratched her head "don't get attached to it..give it back to them" she said with a sigh.
Leoco's ears lowered but did as she was told, "sorry" she giggled. "I love the color of metal and you said it was an egg..heh.." she had a small blush.

"Yeah" Minda said "We found it on a barren planet in space and when we found out that it might be an organic creature we decided the take care of it." She explained "only thing though is that we don't what aliend creature it might be." Jest said.

Leoco thought for a second "have you ever tried turning the lights off and looking at it with a flash-light under it?" she asked.

"I'm not sure that will work, the shell is made of made of metal." Minda said "Whatever this creature is it must have some tough enemy to develop a metal shell to protest it's young." Jest said.

Leoco looked at her with a weak smile "Nothing, it's just sad to think this little guy could have been someones lunch" she explained.

"But because of his evolutionary traits he didn't" Minda said looking at the egg "If something did succeed in eating it will will most likely not be on this planet." Minda said to reassure Leoco.

White-fire smiled "I think we should head back in, it's pretty late, if you two would like, you can come and sleep in" she explained.
She thought for a moment, "if your hungry you can also come and eat" she added.
