Talbot had already fallen asleep, and was able to keep sleeping soundly through-out the night, side by side with Atticus.

Arron would also sleep through the night & would wake refreshed. He was glad to have had rest, though his body still ached from previous endeavors. However, the mechanic chose to ignore the soreness & jump to get things ready to leave, starting with a healthy breakfast.

Talbot's mind was muddled as he dreamed. One moment, he was happily enjoying time in the sun with Arron and Atticus, and the next moment, he was back in his former Mistress's bedroom, experiencing all sorts of atrocities at her hands. Atticus woke up when he mane was tugged on a few times during an more unhappy part of his friend's dream. He sat up a bit, but then settled down when Talbot's grip loosened, of course almost sitting up again when his grip went back to being firm.The knight mumbled in his sleep, as he usually did.
"Ah... it's...mm... picnic..." he muttered before his expression turned to a pained one.
"Stop... please. I can't...hn..." he winced, then began to chew the air as if eating something.
"You make tasty sandwiches... Arron..." he mumbled, immediately followed by several pained gasps and other such awkward sounds.

As the mechanic was cooking, he heard the knight mumbling. He listened & then stared at Talbot in a confused manner. "...My-My sandwiches are TH-THAT g-good..." he said blushing at the awkward sounds after the last statement. He put down the cooking utensils & walked over to Talbot. Arron gently shook his shoulder.

"No! Please don't! That will... never..." Talbot muttered as he was shaken, slowly waking up, "...fit...?" he blinked upon seeing Arron, then his face turned a deep red.
"Ah... was I... talking in my sleep?" he questioned, hoping the answer was no.

"...All I-I was th-that I-I make good sandwiches..." he lied, "...Not th-that's a-a bad thing... I-I love it wh-when someone en-enjoys my c-cooking." Arron did not want Talbot to be embarrassed over his troubled dreams. So he played it down immensely. "Breakfast is-is almost ready too." the young man said, standing.

"Breakfast? Ah.. you didn't need to do that..." he paused, then smiled softly, trying to learn to be grateful rather than guilty, "..but thank you." he added.Atticus stood and stretched, then wandered outside to hunt for something for himself, since he wanted something fresh first thing in the morning.

"Y-You're welcome." Arron said with a smile, "I-I figured it-it would be best to eat now so th-that we w-wouldn't be hungry for some t-time while tr-traveling." He stood & went back to putting the finishing touches on breakfast. A few minutes later it was completed & plated. The breakfast consisted of hearty energy filled foods. Arron planned on taking the leftovers with them.

Talbot bowed his head in thanks as he accepted the food.
"Thank you very much, Arron." he said, then began to eat. He was quick to finish, and then went about making sure everything they needed was packed.
"Ah, as soon as you've finished eating, we should head out. Atticus will likely be back soon as well."

The young man was about half way through his breakfast when Talbot had finished his. Blinking, Arron nodded & quickly finished his meal. He then packed up what was left for the road so he & Talbot could have something to eat along the way. "R-Ready when y-you are." he said with a smile as he slung the bag over his shoulder.

Talbot nodded. He wasn't wearing his armour due to the situation at hand. It would draw attention if he was seen in the armour of the white kingdom while a war was occurring, though it was a little pointless, as Atticus would give it away regardless. The knight headed outside, sword strapped to the bag that carried provisions. Just as he stepped out, Atticus ran over and Talbot climbed up onto his back. With a deep breath, he looked ahead.
"Let's be on our way then."

Arron climbed on Atticus' back after Talbot. He placed a reassuring hand on the knight's shoulder. "It-It's time for y-you to go home. I-I'm sure y-you'll be welcomed b-back." he said with a smile. Arron had been on the road with the lion before, & did not run into any trouble. So he was confident that this trip would be an uneventful one when it came to actually traveling.

"I'm... really looking forward to seeing my mother and father again. Even if...." he frowned, "even if I'm different from how they last saw me." His biggest worry was that they wouldn't accept him as he was. The knight had been thoroughly broken in so many ways the past four years. He knew they would notice, and he hated to imagine it. Regardless, he nodded to Atticus, and the three of them were on their path toward the kingdom.Many hours passed, and Atticus stopped so the group could have a break. They've made up a lot of ground, more so than when they travelled before. Atticus had saved up a lot of energy over the extra day he was given, so his speed had picked up a little.

While they traveled, Arron kept the boredom away by making a necklace out of thick colorful threads. He had no idea what he was going to do with it once he was finished, figuring that he would just give it away once they made it to Talbot's kingdom. Stowing it away after they stopped, the mechanic slipped off of the lion's back & stretched. "St-Stars... we-we covered a-a lot of ground..." he observed looking at their surroundings.

"We certainly did." Talbot dismounted as well and did a little stretching, used to avoiding stiffness due to long periods of travel. He then took off the bag he was wearing and pulled his sword from its sheath, swinging it a few times. It seemed he still wasn't satisfied with how much training time he'd lost while being a slave, so it would take awhile yet for him to reach the same level he was at before.
"I... feel I should make it clear that I still don't support your decision to follow me." he said quietly, swinging his sword and slashing it through the air.
"I would be glad if you decided to turn back."
