how nice.... listen... don't do magic today... please... promise me ye won't... in fact i've got a challenge for ye... just today let's pretend we're normals.. hmmm... yea... a game... and the first one to use magic loses... ok... so where did ye meet Thyrion....

tam nods... thought so... ok... i'm not mad, kero... really i'm not.... but today ye need to not use magic... please... for me if for no other reason... he hugs the cub close and with a thought dismisses the salamander...
he carries him into the living room and sits him down, looking him in the eye... kero, love... i was told iffin ye use magic today it would make ye very very sick and i don't want you to get sick, ok? so how do ye feel... everything ok? do ye feel allright? tam looks him in the eye trying to see iffin it has affected him in any way....

*It doesn't seem to have affected him...he seems just fine...and he pounces on Tam...asking in pictures if he can go play with Kero*

how about i take the two of ye to the park says tam relieved.... but he has to promise not to use magic either... well not to use too much magic, laughs tam who realizes that l. kero needs magic to function....

*Kero laughs and goes and gets L. Kero...and twenty minutes later, Kero is on the swings as L. Kero plays on the merry go round...letting it fling him off and then floating back on...*

tam pushes kero on the swings until he thinks his arms will fall off then suggests the go get a balloon from the balloon man... they get one and tam asks them to help him think of a message and they write it on the balloon setting it free to fly over the city and away... by then it's lunch time and he buys the two younglings hot dogs, marveling at their appetites... a trip to the zoo finishes out the afternoon, but not before tam does a bit of illusion work to make l. kero look like another cat.....

Tam does recieve a moment of panic when he sees Kero in the lion cage...his body is slim enough to slip through the bars...but it looks like Kero is having a good conversation*

hey kero... time to say goodbye... he calls, looking at his watch.... and they leave just as the zoo is locking it's gate... halfway home the two youngsters start lagging behind and tam is forced to carry them back to the apartment..... and by the time he gets to the door they are both sound asleep....

*Strangely, Kero sleeps through the night...though his older self does eat a slice of pizza...and when Tam awakens the next morning...he finds both Little Kero and Kero gone*

i'm going to have to put a bell on that dang cub, he complains to rhea when he finds that the two of them are not in the apartment... at least then i'll know when he wakes up... you wouldn't have any idea as to where they went do ye... he asks buttoning his shirt....

They're on the roof, I think...
*When Tam gets up there, he sees Kero holding onto L. Kero's neck...right as the two of them vault over the side...*

tam goes griffon and takes to the air, keeping a close eye on them, ready to help if needed but allowing them their bit of fun....
